First time eating here and I must say that my expectations were not high. I was pleasantly surprised. Service was great, as I expected. But the food was the surprise. Had the Polette, might be spelling it wrong, as an appetizer and it was very good. My main curse was the Bolognese. Although the portion was smaller than I'd like, it was great. Well balanced flavors and the pasta was cooked perfectly. I might stop in and try some other menu items. Oh yeah, the gelato was amazing!

This place probably gets most if their business during the work week given its location. If you are looking for a quiet place to have dinner on Friday evening this is the spot. the pasta is fresh!

Very nice restaurant! Lovely ambience and our table was very nice. Server was attentive but not annoyingly so. Meal was,delicious and the digestive at the end were excellent!

I went for a Restaurant Week for a meal. The food was delicious. The beets and mozzarella were quite good. The focaccia with olive oil both had nice flavors. The risotto was fabulous. The service quality was great except it was much slower than I had expected. I would have expected faster service of courses coming out. They were busy with Restaurant Week, but with less options on the menu I would have expected a quicker meal.

Delicious food, great wine selection, and a romantic ambiance! What more can you ask for? Been here a couple of times now and I would definitely go back. I always recommend this place to people because I've always had a good experience. They also have valet parking, but if you're going to stay longer, there's a lot on NY avenue that's about the same price and is 24 hours.

Exceptional food, nice atmosphere and great service. Nice selection of hard to find bourbons. Portions are small but great flavor. Wine selection is OK. Nice bar area as well. Ignored Yelp reviews and glad I did. Yelpers are moronic.

This is by far the best Italian cuisine EVER! From the wine, main dishes and the dessert, it was all amazing. The decor is great and the staff is top notch. Thank you for making our time and meal such an enjoyable experience.

In DC for 3 weeks and ate out every night. This was the BEST restaurant. Incredible atmosphere. Food that was out of this world. The Executive Chef, Loris Navone, came out to briefly chat and was the most amazing host ever. Thank you for a wonderful memory for me and my family. God bless.

The food is excellent and the service on point. I was disappointed in the portion size, until I realized it allowed me room to eat dessert and, based on the quality of the dessert options, I was very pleased to have a little extra room. Excellent location for a business meeting in a upbeat but relatively quiet environment.

Good selection of food. Would definitely go back there again. Had to wait very long for dessert so had to get it in take away containers. The dessert portions are a bit small tho. Other than that, a good Italian experience!

These are hard times for many restaurants and many have had to drop their special bar menus, eliminate the alcoholic beverage or reduce the quality and quantity of the food. At Bibiana the $20 bar lunch includes a glass of wine, entree and sorbet. I'll keep looking, but I'm pretty sure this is the best, and best value, bar lunch in town.

I've been to dinner at bibiana several times and it has always been excellent. Awesome Italian food and wine in a serene spot with great service. What more could you ask for? Ingredients and dishes are fresh and prepared simply. Doesn't disappoint at all.

Food and atmosphere are great. Upscale. I do think the portions are a bit small for the price, however, which is why I didnt give 5 stars. I would go back, just not frequently. More for a special occasion for me.

I love this place. There's always something interesting on the menu. I had the tortellini with beef and pork in a brown butter sauce, and it was delicious. For dessert, I ordered the Affogato Al Caffe, and it was sweet with an espresso bite. Wonderful!

Amazing food and service. Had meat and cheese platter, the Chiopino and the hazzlenut nut mousse for dessert. All were excellent. If you sit at the bar the bartender will let you sample wines until you find your pairing preference. You have to try this place.

Had the pleasure of eating at Bibiana in celebration of a very special bachelorette & the ENTIRE experience was beyond amazing!!! We were greeted by thee awesome Arthur who enhanced our dining experience, making us wanting to make him our new bff. 😊 our server for the evening was WONDERFUL!!! Jared, we had a truly awful experience the night before at another establishment & YOU totally rocked it & made us wish we had dined here instead. Everyone was extremely helpful & attentive as well as personable. I will totally be back & recommend 10 times over. Absolutely fantabulous time!!!

The carpaccio and braised short ribs were delicious. The Butternut squash appetizer is not so much. The waiter seemed to think we were beneath his service. We waited for 15 minutes to order desserts after not eating my entree because it was horribly salty. When I mentioned it nothing was said to correct it. It’s beautiful but I won’t be giving it another chance!

Bibiana is a great restaurant and an awesome experience. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and the food is delicious. The wine director is very nice and Arben, the manager, is top notch!

Just like people, who went there and wrote the reviews below, I had to say that this place needs some Gordon Ramsay style treatment: service is horrible and extremely selective, sometimes based on your appearance and the way you dressed, they run out of basic things in the middle of Saturday dinner, kitchen doesn't have enough staff, servers are arrogant. We almost left after one hour of waiting for our ordered food, looking at how everybody else received their food and more, just not us:( . We regret going there, certainly having better choices, plus, it was a lesson than Open Table cannot always be trusted....

I had the fried oysters as my appetizer with the Spinach puree. Just with fried oysters you already have a winner, but the spinach puree it over. And with fried items, you often worry it will be heavy. But no concerns here. A perfect appetizer, not heavy at all with great taste to get you ready for a main course. What had made me come into the restaurant was I saw an oxtail dish on the menu displayed outside the restaurant. But it turned out the oxtail dish is only served for lunch. I chose the scallops instead. It was excellent, perfectly cooked. It had horse radish in the sauce, which was subtle. I actually love horse radish, and would have called it the perfect dish if it was more pronounced. I am probably in the minority in that taste profile. But I still thoroughly enjoyed the dish. A wonderful dining experience, I want to go back for lunch to try the oxtail.

Had an absolutely amazing experience from the second we set foot in the door. Food was TO DIE FOR and the service was just as fantastic. Chef Loras came out to chat and treated us to some of his favorites! He recommended the octopus, butternut squash apps and the duck pasta (can’t remember the name).. they were all AH MAZ ING!! We were celebrating a birthday and they treated us like queens!! Will definitely recommended to all of our friends and look forward to coming back!!

After the Inauguration and Parade it was off to find a Restaurant. Places near the Parade Route were very crowded +1 hr wait and so glad they were because our party discovered Bibiana Osteria Enoteca, sat at the bar, enjoyed some appetizers, entrees, Italian Beer, Lady had Red Wine. Host, Bartender, and Kitchen Staff very friendly. After our meal, Jimmy offered a nice cordial. Cool decor and kitchen/bar! Excellent Italian dishes! Plus, big screen TV at the bar so we could watch the finish of the Parade. THANKS BOE!!
