Momiji Restaurant - Washington DC - Photo album

Was looking for sushi and hibachi near my hotel, and this place hit the spot. Hot, fresh, and delicious. The only downside they only offered takeout, and I was looking to dune in. I ordered the hibachi chicken, spring rolls and sumo rolls sushi.
Ordered Momiji for delivery and it was great quality! The fish tasted fresh and they gave us very generously sized pieces. Only complaint was that the miso soup that came with my order was not very good.
I really enjoyed the food, but the place to order & pick up wasn't a pleasant atmosphere. While I ordered and waited by the door, I got tons of bites from unknown insects & there were a lot of people hanging around the area that made me uncomfortable. Food wise, I ordered the Happy Santa roll, Macke
I came 2 years ago to DC and found this place. Now that I came back for 3 days, I had all my meals there. That is how much I liked it. Rolls are filled with fish rather than too much rice. Perfect ratio. The Capital roll was my favorite: filled with 4 types of fish and covered in avocado and eel. De
Was @ Momiji for lunch on a Sunday. We, a party of 2 walked in during late afternoon and were seated right away. Service was good and the food was also good. Would visit again. Ambiance and decor : 4/5 Location and access : 4/5 Service: 4/5 Food taste and quality: 4/5 Cost : $$ ($60 for lunch for 2
Delivery review. I very much enjoyed the food. Good selection of traditional and specialty rolls that come at a significant premium. All rolls are pretty big. Recommended: spicy salmon, and sweetie roll. Very good - Christmases roll (tuna avocado). Not my thing: Boston roll. Good tuna and salmon
Tried the take out. The Unagi Don’s octopus is not very fresh. The taste is about average. Nothing big to complain. But just not worth visiting again.
I WAS CRAVING SUSHI AND HAD SEEN HIGH REMARKS ABOUT THIS PLACE ON SOCIAL MEDIA SO I WENT. EXPECTING TO SIT DOWN AND EAT THEY’RE ONLY OPEN FOR TAKEOUT! BUMMER! BUT THAT DIDN’T STOP ME FROM GIVING THIS PLACE A GO. I ordered 2 rolls, an avocado salad, eel + ikura + mackerel sashimi and shrimp/veggie te
The portions are huge and the food is delicious. Staff was super friendly. Definitely coming back next time I'm in DC!
chicken fried rice was a huge portion and delicious - some of the best i’ve had!
Small but very characteristic. The food was very delicious and colorful. Would really recommend if you love sushi.
Wow! I was very impressed with the sushi! The salmon was delicious, the eel was perfect, and the mango roll was delightful! I will definitely be coming back to this place for more.
Dine-in was closed, take-out only. A bit on the pricey side, but for the amount of food we got, it was well worth the price. One of the best-tasting hibachi I've had.
Great sushi and fresh with delivery
This is my go to place for sushi since it’s close to work. The service is super fast and the quality of the rolls is amazing. They have great lunch specials and great happy hour for food and drinks! I go there at least once a week. Perfect for ordering take out
Great sushi spot! Got takeout - the rolls are affordable and they aren’t stingy w the wasbi on the side 🙌🏻
Cozy DC sushi bar. I'm no sushi aficionado but all was good. Servers were nice and service was prompt. Everything was clean. No complaints.
The sushi was great! We ordered different times of sushi, and all of them were good and fresh .
