Doi Moi - Washington DC - Photo album

My family and I took my cousin out for his birthday in DC. He was looking to try Asian cuisine so we went to this highly acclaimed Vietnamese restaurant. My wife and I got there early so we hung out at the bar adjacent to the restaurant. After we were seated our host (Travis) took care of our party
OMG. This was absolutely incredible. I don't usually write reviews, but this was one of the best meals I have had in a while. The service was really great. There was a little bit of a problem with one of the dishes, but when we mentioned it they brought it out almost immediately and comped that dish
While not from the DC area I was visiting family and this spot was recommended. We can in for lunch on a weekend and were quickly seated. I am not a fan of brunch and had to request if there was anything from their lunch or diner menus they would be prepared to make and it turns out the grilled por
Everything was fire! Went to dinner to celebrate a birthday. Everyone was so friendly and very excited that we were there to celebrate. All the food was phenomenal. The flavors are perfect as well as the seasoning. Can’t recommend enough.
I rarely write five star reviews, but Doi Moi deserves it. If you have a choice between the ground level or heading downstairs, just know that the ground one is very loud and lively, while downstairs felt super intimate and had a really cool vibe I loved. The drunkin noodles could best be described
Amazing!! The ratatouille curry with the rice (I substituted lemongrass chicken) was to die for! The perfect blend of salty, citrus, sweet and a little kick. And a huge portion! A new favorite spot for me. They also have a dog friendly patio!
I love thé présentation of the dishes I ordered. I really loved the Banh Mi and the Thai Ice Tea with it. The pandan pancake was also really good too, but they should not really put food color in it. It was a lovely nice morning and experience overall.
A very dark Doi Moi poses both the challenge of finding your waiter and reading the menu. My favorite is a quick and easy drunken noodles.
Pros: all of the food is delicious, the vibe inside is great and the aesthetic is really fun Cons: I like the high-top tables in theory, but they're a little uncomfortable to sit at for a whole dinner and don't have hooks for coats, the entryway also needs to be reconfigured - you can't check in wi
Fantastic experience yet again! The server we had was fantastic, as she compensated a spilled drink and served us well! We could flag her down anytime and get great help. The food was fantastic, and it was fun to watch the kitchen staff prepare and plate our delicious food. Will be here often!
