Rosa Mexicano - Penn Quarter - Washington DC - Photo album

We are in DC as tourists, and let me just start off by saying: if you are looking for some amazing Spanish food for a really reasonable price, this is, by far, the place to go to. We were served with exceptional service. The food came out very well presented, and the food was as good as it looked. T
Amazing food and incredible drinks. We had.the nachos with braised beef and were super impressed. It was small but everything tasted amazing and super fresh. The pomegranate margarita packs a punch but that could be because I was dehydrated walking around DC all day.
One of my favorite restaurants in DC. Everything I've ordered here is fantastic, well thought out, balanced and authentic. From the chips and salsa and guacamole, to any entree or side like their delicious elote, Rosa Mexicano is a cut above. It doesn't end there though, the service here is truly ex
The food was good and their was endless refills of chips and salsa, which is always a plus but I thought the food was extremely overpriced and some of the dishes were portioned small. Beans and rice were not provided per plate but a small bowl was provided for the table. The atmosphere was nice but
Best guacamole and strong margaritas. There is outside seating in this location. The bartenders are friendly and helpful. The great thing was I came here on a Saturday evening and they had more than one bartender available. Get the pineapple jalapeño margarita, shrimp tacos and quesadillas. You won’
Get the guacamole, seriously. You know you want to and I promise it’s worth it. Not an easy place for vegans but vegetarians are totally set. I got the Tacos Hongos (mushroom veggies) and they were pretty perfect. They also provide a communal serving of rice and beans for the table which I thought w
Food was tasty and well textured. But portion sizes were smaller than expected. Environment inside the restaurant is pleasant and design and art inside are unique and creative.
My first visit at this place and the food was delicious. By far the best mexician food i have had around that place. Our friend took us there and I dont what they call it, but the first picture you see tastes like a Mirchi Bajji (Indian Food) but bell pepper (instead of green chilli).. tasted heaven
We reserved a table using the OpenTable app and were seated early and by the window. Our waiter was attentive and checked on us repeatedly. I had a mojito, the tableside guacamole ( guacamole en molcajete), tres enchiladas and the flan de rosa. All of it was tasty and the food arrived promptly. Th
Absolutely delicious guacamole. Great chicken tacos. The fish was a bit dry and flavorless though, the chips were sometimes a bit too salty but the amazing guacamole made up for it. The carne asada quesadilla was also a bit salty but put some salsa on top and it's perfect. I would come back again i
Their drinks are pretty good. Service by the bar is hit or miss though. I’ll go back because the sangria is great! The fish tacos are delicious 🌮🌮and of course they have the best guacamole 🥑!
Fantastic white tablecloth Mexican fare. The tableside guacamole is second to none. I also enjoyed the hongos (vegan mushroom tacos) and a mouthwatering margarita.
Great location. Come out of the Gallery stop on the Metro (at Capitol One Arena) and it is right across the street (7th). Just north of the Spy Museum. Nice open area w/big windows. Havent tasted margaritas like that since Mexico. Full menu that covers all the based. Each item showing the region it
I love this place. Everything was wonderful and the guacamole was made fresh.
