Amazing place, drinks, food, view, rooftop, bartenders. I could rate it 10 stars if I could. That rooftop and fascinating view will be how I spend my summer.

Hidden gem that should be the hottest place in DC. View from the Capitol to the Air Force Memorial to National Harbor - and amazing sunsets. Great food, cocktails, and ambiance. Definitely a place for grownups.

The staff is fantastic, the Bartenders are top notch and a lot of fun. The view can not be beat, even on a cold night one should spend a bit of time outside and take it all in.

Small place but oh what a view! Found this place online when looking up things to do on a day trip to DC! Great drinks. Average city prices for someone who is used to NYC drink prices. I had the mermaid margarita, it was beautiful! The fire pits are friendly and welcoming! There were blankets outside too that were great. Will definitely go back next time I’m in DC!

Bartenders were awesome, friendly. As we sat at the bar. Slow winter night, just perfect for a birthday drink. Gorgeous views of Haines Point, 14st bridge lit up with blue running lights. New District Wharf....awesome!!

The staff was nice, I saw a photo online that was on their site because pink is my favorite color. Even though they didn't know what it was. They did their best to duplicate it. The drink was good and got me right. I'll be back soon. Thank you staff.

Good times at this place. It is small inside but does have a good size outside area. It's part of the Hilton so if you are staying would be good place to start or finish your night. I went right around sunset, so the scene was beautiful as it overlooked the wharf walk, and you can even see the bonfire when it's lit. I didn't have any food, but I heard people saying it was good. I did have a glass of red wine, and my friends had a non alcoholic drink called a dragon fly. She said it was sweet, so if that is what you like while being a DD, this would definitely be for you. It's the wharf, so there is street and parking garage parking. I would definitely go back and looking fwd to trying the outside area when it warms back up

Love coming here when the weather is nice to enjoy a nice sunset or after dinner spot to grab cocktail drinks with a beautiful view of the city lights at the wharf. You enter the building of the Canopy Hilton hotel and go up the elevator to the top floor. I’ve stayed at this Canopy a few times and having such an awesome night time spot within your hotel is the best! There’s paid garage parking and there’s also valet parking.

When they didn't have the ingredients to make the drink I ordered, the bartender made something similar, and it was excellent. Thanks, Brendan! The view was also amazing, and we're already excited to visit here when we come back to DC.

My first time at Whiskey Charlie on the Wharf. Chill ambiance and music is hip hop which fits. I don’t understand the giant projector screen showing a sports game as your a whiskey specialty drink bar not a sports bar so it clashes with the decor and identity. I expected a more jazz like feel but it still works. Though the space is small if it was crowded it still works. The menu options are few so it’s definitely a spot for a cocktail and something small to go with so if you’re looking for a bigger meal this wouldn’t be my recommendation. Definitely good if you’re looking for an after dinner or just an evening out to have a drink. My servers name was Jordan and he was very friendly, professional, and attentive. I think staff probably could benefit on knowledge of whiskeys, Rums, etc etc as your charging anywhere from 18-50 plus dollars a drink so if your attempting to educate a customer on whiskey and get a higher potential sale or create an experience that may lead the customer to chose a more expensive option then having well trained staff helps add to the experience and may lead the customer to purchasing something based off your recommendation (just from a sales background). The big belly dish was good could’ve been great but the bread/roll on it was dry and was shaped like taco but broke apart (making it messy/clumsy). Overall presentation of food and drink was good. I chose an old fashioned and it was the best part of the evening especially since it wasn’t filled with ice cubes and an orange slice lol as many places do. You pay for the experience just like everywhere in DC. I would’ve gave it 5 stars but the changes their menu recently and maybe they will add an additional item or two i.e. the chicken wings. The other reason it gets 4 stars is their patio is closed until further notice when really I feel is the best part of this place since it looks out on the Potomac. You can apparently sit out on the pool deck which I have not done, but for now 4 stars and maybe if/when I return 5. There is definitely room for improvement and if your providing high end spirits and cocktails be able to explain/sell them/add to the experience. Overall it’s worth a visit even if it’s just for a cocktail before or after dinner.

A very cool rooftop bar just overlooking the marina! The vibes were amazing, staff super friendly and prompt. We were a group of 7 and we just walked in (first come first serve). The views are amazing! They serve a quite good variety of drinks with not so much options of food as it’s not a restaurant, but we had flatbread pizza, marinated olives, ahi tuna salad and they were great. Recommended!

The view from up here is fabulous, I enjoyed sitting up here so much. The drinks were good, a little e pensive maybe but with the view and the patio it was worth it. The hubs and I just relaxed and enjoyed, a great way to end a day of running around.

This bar in my opinion has one of the top ten rooftops in DC. The view to the wharf waterfront and beyond is amazing. You can catch a nice sunset here. As far as the quality of food and cocktails go, this place serves you something good. The prices however are above average in DMV area.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in Washington, DC and stayed at a different hotel in Arlington. We decided to check out nearby places for a nice drink and stumbled upon Whiskey Charlie at the Canopy Hotel by the Wharf on Oct 21. We arrived around 9:30 pm via Uber, went upstairs, and ordered a Vodka Cosmo and a Vodka Cranberry. After having a quick drink, we checked the bill, which is around $30-40, and we signed it. We left early to explore more spots. To our shock, when we returned from our vacation, we were charged a whopping $464 for just two drinks. I've been trying to reach out to their managers (Babak Pakravan), but they seem to be avoiding my calls and not addressing the issue. I've even disputed the charge through my bank. Charging $464 for two drinks is nothing short of outrageous and feels like fraud. What's even more disappointing is that the Canopy Hotel just took my information and did nothing, with promises of getting the Whiskey Charlie manager to contact me. This experience has left a bitter taste, and I would caution others to be wary of these establishments. What a true shame on you guys. Update——————————————update Christiana(Canopy hotel manager) I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your exceptional assistance in rectifying the mistaken charge on my card because of a typo. Your efforts in resolving the issue were truly commendable, and I appreciate your professionalism and prompt response. Furthermore, your generous offer of a complimentary stay for our next visit is a kind gesture that further reflects the outstanding customer service at Canopy Hotel. Thank you once again for your exemplary service, and I look forward to visiting your establishment in the future.

Amazing view from the above. Friendly staff and great drinks. Make sure you get the beef sliders. If you run into any issues, get a hold of D as she will make sure your joy is uninterrupted. She was very accommodating to us when we got there. Even though strollers or big bags were not allowed up there, she kindly let us take a seat and enjoy the little time we had up there before our transportation arrived. If you get a chance try to go there before all the Christmas lights are gone...

This is quaint lil rooftop bar. The outside space is huge in comparison to the inside. It was raining on and off so we couldn't fully enjoy the outside. The prices for most things were reasonable and comparable to others in the area.

The salmon on a bed of shrimp Risotto was amazing. The drinks were delicious and it has a very cool ambiance on the rooftop with nice R&B music. They do a great job with distancing the tables and making sure everyone has some heat. Service was also very good and attentive. I'll def be back.
