The steaks were the best we ever had. The sides were phenomenal. Rich our waiter is the best in the business. He made our experience there over the top.
We will recommend and go every chance we get.
Excellent Food, the steak was cooked to perfection. (Bone-In Ribeye) and the Lobster Mac&Cheese is a must. The dessert is to die for, you must get the Butter Cake. The staff is just great! Second time going and it keeps getting better.
I celebrated my 37th birthday here with friends and had a wonderful time. The waiter Maurice was amazing. Very informative and helpful with explaining the menu and drink options. One of my friends is vegan and he was able to modify some of the menu items for her. To sum it up we will be retuning again soon. Thank you again.
Del Frisco's is my absolute favorite chain restaurant. Not only does Del Frisco's provide outstanding hospitality services, but the food is utterly fantastic. I made a point to visit this location for the first time over the long 4th of July weekend, and just like the other locations, it didn't disappoint. I ordered the Dynamite Shrimp, Prime Rib Eye, and Loaded Baked Potato. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. My steak was prepared exactly to my liking, and the truffle butter on top really added that extra flavor. The bartender can really whip up a great Double Eagle Margarita as well. The host that seated me was warm and welcoming, and my server Maurice was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The restaurant itself, just like the other locations I have visited, is clean and beautiful. The only thing I noticed during my visit at this location was that I wasn't sure if this chain still had a dress code requirement, like it is stated on their website and printed on the front of the restaurant. I say this because I saw several patrons that were not dressed according to Del Frisco's standards, and I made a point to change my clothing to something deemed appropriate prior to my reservation. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at this location, and I will definitely come back again the next time I visit the DC area.
Solid good quality food served in this masculinely designed spacious restaurant in City Center. Maybe it was the movie playing at the bar, The Expendables, that made me think this, but I’ve rarely encountered a place with more right angles, hard edges and testosterone vibes. This is a place for large appetites for big ppl. Best to come with a group to get the many sides that are divine. We had the prime steak cooked to perfection, potato gratin that was more delicious w each bite, the wedge salad big enough to split w ample amount and flavor, and their house made bread, which could have been cooked a bit longer. To think all of this is supposed to be for one portion is crazy! We had leftovers. Being that we’ve been here a few times, we knew not to overdo it with the ordering. Finished the night w their namesake Cabernet, that was exactly the right call to finish our night on a high note.
Came here for restaurant week and it was amazing! All the food was delicious and the restaurant week pricing couldn't have been better. The place was absolutely packed! You'll definitely want to make a reservation and you'll definitely want to dress up a bit. It's a see-and-be-seen kinda place.
Our server was fantastic! And that's in spite of the glacially slow speed at which our food and drinks came out. Likely because the place was totally slammed. Regardless, it meant we had lots of time to catch up with our friends and enjoy the scene. Highly recommended!
Business meeting. Amazing food.
- Crab cake
- Bacon
- Calamari
- 22oz bone in ribeye
I ordered bone in rib eye with 3 sides, bacon appetizer and the rolls for carry out from VA. After getting home I realized the steak was missing. I called and spoke with Ashley who promptly said she’d remake my entire order if I was coming back (40 min drive). I said no, just the steak please. Upon arrival, I told her my charge was declined (I checked for confirmation) and presented a card on-site. She said, no, here’s my ribeye and she comped my entire order. (I left tip on order) WOW. For this reason, (food too, of course) I would highly recommend this restaurant as you’d be assured to get what you order and then some. Food was fantastic as always after all. Thank you again Ashley. I’ll see you again soon.
Del Frisco's in Washington, D.C. is nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked through the door, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and warmth. What truly sets this restaurant apart is its impeccable service. The staff here are not just attentive; they are genuinely passionate about ensuring every diner has an unforgettable experience.
The attention to detail is remarkable. Every plate served is a masterpiece, carefully crafted with precision and a commitment to quality. Whether it's a succulent steak cooked to perfection or a delicate seafood dish, each bite is a testament to the culinary expertise that Del Frisco's proudly boasts.
But it's not just about what's on the plate; it's the entire experience. The servers anticipate your needs without being intrusive, making you feel like a cherished guest. They are knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings, ready to offer recommendations that elevate your dining experience. On two different occasions my dining experience was elevated. Thanks to the amazing staff - especially some of the management team that greatly improved my dining experiences - I am very grateful that i had the wonderful privilege of working two of their finest managers, Mac & Andy

We arrived about 15 minutes early & was accommodated immediately. Sat in a 2 seat table which had very comfy chairs. I noticed that the linens were not really "attended" to. My table cloth was down to the floor. When we asked for the wine list, unfortunately we had no pages to look at. BUT... Mario saved the day! With his wit & laughter, he made the evening more enjoyable. This also became the running joke of the evening. As an appetizer we order the steak tartar.... yummy!!! Creamy, Beefy, Savory with a funky mustard topping that sent it over the top! A must try! Came with homemade chips with a hint of salt on them. Next we ordered a bottle of wine & our main course. With detailed explanation on the steaks & how they're prepared we ordered. My husband got the bone-in NY Strip & I got the 5 oz filet. Both cooked perfectly & topped with a truffle butter. Unfortunately, not a "true" truffle butter. I would have loved to have the option of "fresh truffels" but it was still very tasty. Just a note on the steaks, the kitchen is VERY heavy on seasoning the steaks with salt. You must like salt to eat their steaks. Very salty on the first bite, but delicious too. I believe that with steaks of this quality, you should have the beef shine through the seasoning, not the other way around. All in all a very enjoyable, memorable dining experience.
One of my wife and I favorites and our first stop during a weekend of celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Jack was our server and made our celebration even more special!
The first thing I notice about this restaurant was the super friendly staff. It has two levels for dining. I recommend upstairs because of the beautiful view outside. A special shout out to the waiter Jerrell. He gave us a butter cake topped with ice cream, absolutely delicious 😋
