I'm gluten free and had a hard time finding a ramen place with rice noodles. This place had very friendly staff that was able to accommodating my allergy. The price is very reasonable considering the huge portions and everything was delicious. I highly recommend!

What an awesome dining experience for my family! Great friendly people throughout the restaurant and our server Billy was spectacular! We ordered the appetizer pancakes, steamed wontons and pork belly bun sandwich all of which were wonderful tasting and nice portions. We had the King Fu (soup) and Dan Dan noodles (no broth) and the girls each had the General Tsao's chicken (w/white rice) all of which were great and w/out a doubt some of the best Asian food I've ever had! I will return for more! If you are adventurous w/your dining experiences you will want to try this place immediately! Conveniently located two blocks from the Washington Convention Center on 7th St.

Service was very quick and courteous (although they forgot my tea, still it was good overall) as it was a busy day and they did apologise. We had the dumpling soup (simply delicious), Cucumbers(it was great on a hot day), bbq chicken (Very tender) and the pancake was also worth trying!

Reren is delicious. It's the only spot in town that serves soup dumplings. And I mean the only spot. They're well done too - even the ginger and black vinegar. Everything is handmade and fresh. Lamen is good and its super affordable - almost half the price of Daikkaya and Toki. The service was all still in training, but they seem nice. If you care a lot about service instead of food, that's your own damn fault anyways. It's still just a soft open, but as a longtime chinatown resident, I've been waiting for a legit soup dumpling place for ages. It has arrived.

After enjoying an afternoon at Kennedy Center, my sisters and I stumbled upon this lovely place. What an amazing staff and delicious meal! I can not wait to taste more options off the menu.

In town for a week, wanted good Asian food, so gave it a try. We loved every dish we ordered. I recommend the Fireballs if you want an appetizer with some pop.

Come here all the time and always love it. Helpful, efficient staff with flavorful and bountiful ramen bowls. They stay open a little later so it's my go-to spot. Never been disappointed!

Food is awesome and service was great. Just bring patience for the wait time but everything’s worth the wait! See for yourself. We’ll definitely be back soon.

I ate here with colleagues while in DC for the union. They had a table for six available almost right away on a Friday evening at about 6 pm. I tried the peppery chicken and the smashed cucumber. These would be good to order for the table and share, but my colleagues don't really have that understanding with dining out at Asian restaurants. The peppery chicken had a good balance of Szechuan peppers and other flavors, it's a dish I would order again. The cucumbers were good, too, nice balanced vinegar flavor. I enjoyed my experience here and would come back to try more of the menu.

So happy I stopped here for lunch. All the dishes we had were good. I started with grandma’s pancakes. Then my husband and I shared the Dan Dan noodles. We ended with spicy wontons. No wait to be seated on a Friday for lunch.

We had a great lunch. Everyone loved the ramen, rice, edamame, noodles and more. Water was ready right away and more food was brought quickly. Wish there were kids meal options.

Food was great, and would sure please anyone. I did find that Dumplings were a little over steamed, but still tasty. I wished the broth was a bit richer with the Lamen, and the Dan Dan Noodles could have been a lot spicier. However, it is a great little place!

Place is simple but neat, clean and organized. Food was brought to table very fast. The broth was flavourful, had some consistency to it, but the best part was the noodles, which comes on a large bowl. I was satisfied with my portion as we also asked for homemade pork dumplings, which were well made (unfortunately they don't offer it fried version, just steamed). Only reason I didn't give a 5 star, is because I think they could have added more meat, and more bok choy,, or just color to the plate. Overall is a good dish if you are looking for something fast and light in Chinatown.

Stumbled upon this place, and was pleasantly surprised. From the outside it doesn't appear to be anything, but their ramen and food is very delicious. The staff was very nice and prompt. All three of our dishes came out hot and fast. I would recommend the getting an order of the sticky buns they're incredible.

We stopped here on out last afternoon in our nation's capital. Everything we had was wonderful, with great flavors and balance in all of the dishes. We had Chengdu Spicy wonton and Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings, both awesome. I had the Dan Dan noodles, and the wife had the Reren Karaage. Kids spilt the General Tso's bourbon chicken, and both had some bubble tea. Great service, great place and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

You can probably tell by the empty bowl & plate that this place was fantastic. We had Dan Dan noodles, General Tso's Bourbon chicken, the win wings (mambo sauce on the side only), wonton soup, and steamed dumplings (not pictured). The Dan Dan noodles are the best I've ever had. I asked for no peanuts and no egg, and got extra ground pork and sauce. They listened and I indulged in that delicious, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented dish. I was delightfully surprised to find that the General Tso's Bourbon chicken had more chicken than coating, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste; though, it wasn't my dish so I didn't deduct any stars for that. The wonton soup was piping hot, delicious, and mild while still being very flavorful. It was comforting. The steamed dumplings were as traditional and mildly flavorful as expected. The wings were piping hot, perfectly seasoned (I imagine they were brined since I didn't see any actual seasoning), perfectly crispy, and not greasy. This was my first time visiting and I already went back the same week. Go here. You won't regret it. One piece of advice: Just order ice water with lemon. They charge $3 for one (1) 12oz can of Sprite!!

An absolutely delicious meal. Edit to add: We stopped here on a whim, having never been before but saw it had great reviews (and the one we were headed to was closed early due to a storm that day). We were tired and hungry from a really long day and were craving ramen. My friend had the signature dish and I had the Kung fu noodles. As a lover of spicy soup, it was the perfect amount of spicy and flavour balance that literally makes my mouth water as I type this. The appetizer was tasty, karaage. And I tried Soju for the first time and let me tell you, my whole world has changed. It was like drinking fuzzy peaches. I was visiting my friend who is local and she now has a new go-to place in Chinatown, and I have a soup to dream about for the rest of my life. Top 5 soups I have ever had (and like I said, I LOVE soup).

Great tasting pan-Asian cuisine. They have dishes from various countries. The takoyaki is spot on as good as in Japan. Everything we had was pretty good. Xiou Long Bao tasted ok, but was definitely not homemade, and probably machine made / frozen. Other great dishes on the menu we didn't have time to try. The servers were very nice, polite and helpful. If I lived in DC, I'd eat here again for sure.

Good noodles, wings were great too! Wish the cucumber salad had a little more oomph to them, but overall nice spot.

A great casual place for noodles. Very generous portions. We were not hurried out even though we lingered on a busy Saturday lunchtime. One of my favourite casual dining spots in DC. Right next to the National Portrait Gallery.

Food was absolutely delicious. Went for dinner yesterday and ended up going back for lunch the next day. The sauce for the spicy wonton was to die for. Very unique flavors and ordered multiple different dishes to try. Staff was friendly and service was fast. Would definitely go back again next time we visit DC. Everyone worked together on a busy night.

Incredible soup noodle. It was a pleasant discovery. After a long and wet trek from the 'U Street Capsule Hostel' near Pleasant Plains to Downtown to Chinatown my legs were near dead. I had to get meal, fast, and a really good one. Reren exceeded expectations, the service was prompt and attentive, I got a tall glass of cold water the moment I sat down, thanks waitress, I needed that drink! I ordered their signature dish: 'Reren Signature Lamen'. Big portion of noodles to slurp to, delicious ans hearty brother with just the right amount of salt, condiments such as the half boiled Chinese Tea Egg, finely chopped kale, beans pouts, dried sea cucumber are an excellent addition to add texture and flavour. The star of this dish was the Pork Belly, succulent, melt-in-your-mouth stuff. Very tasty, a good hit of protein that was much needed after a tiring trek to the city. The shallots for garnish brought everything together for a superb presentation finish. Mad props to Reren chefs and wait staff - highly recommended.

Ordered the stir fried noodles and the tso chicken and it was full of flavor. Delicious food and a homey and cozy vibe. Those 2 plates were more than enough for two people. Enjoy!

Service was attentive and friendly. We had the general tso’s bourbon chicken, house hand made dumplings, and win wings with mumbo sauce. The mumbo sauce was served on the side and the wings were not tossed in them, so the wings by itself were kind of bland. Our two other dishes were tasty though - the general tso’s bourbon chicken was our favorite dish! 😋

For a party of 10 with no reservations we were greeted and seated in 8 minutes! To me, that's terrific! All the staff wore a mask. They had us seated on the second floor. Thankfully, there was a restroom on the second floor. We were hungry and thankful that it did not take the restaurant staff too long to prepare the food for all ten of us. The food portion was a good serving size, it tastes good, and the prices were fair. I didn't think the lamen/ramen was anything excellent tasting, it was good. I personally like my noodles al dente; the noodles were not al dente but it could be because the ramen noodles are in hot broth. Overall restaurant was clean and inviting.
