This restaurant is lovely. The food is out of the world and the drinks were phenomenal. totally worth the price. We had platter that could literally feed 6 people! The margarita pitcher served 6 full cups. Rafael took great care of my party of 9, who was celebrating my moms birthday. It was our first time visiting Lauriol Plaza and I will definitely be coming back to try more things on the menu

Good Mexican food. Service was better than average. Drinks were delicious and shrimp and crab quesdilla was amazing. The Marisco Salgado and chicken enchiladas were okay. We were sat at a table in the middle of the room and staff bumped into us A LOT. The music playing in the background was interesting...several children's, kids bops, and disney songs.

This place is amazing. I posted about our dinner there on social media and got a lot of friends saying how much they love this place so I guess it’s well known in DC.
We had amazing Lamb Fajitas and a rockfish. They make great margaritas too. The service was absolutely 5 stars.

As I walked into the restaurant, the smell was out of this world. It smelled delicious.
The hostess was very pleasant and friendly. The waiter was kind and pleasant.

We love this place. Multi-story with outdoor dining. A large painting that changes with the season. The food is good at a reasonable price. The servers are professional and engaging. I have eaten here for lunch too. Highly recommend it.

Nice atmosphere. I didn't care for the rice (white & Mexican) or beans. White rice was crunchy. Mexican rice had no flavor. Black beans were flavorless as well. My main dish and the Cadillac margarita was great! The chips and salsa were amazing as well.

It's a nice place. We sat outside to watch the streets and feel the natural wind. The food was good, but not to the "wow" extent. I like the Maryland crab dish, but my friends said it had a bit too much cheese - but well you know, we Asians don't eat a lot of cheese. The staff were very friendly.

Cristina is the reason to dine at Lauriol Plaza. She’s amazing. Cristina makes you feel like you are the most important customer. The food is decent. Masitas de Puerco is one of their best dishes. They also have a variety of delicious salads. Swirl margaritas are delicious. The Mango margarita is also quite good. Sitting on the outside patio is enjoyable, especially in the fall or spring.

We really enjoyed this place. The margaritas were good. Chips and salsa were amazing. We tried one of the combos that had a chicken enchilada, chicken tamale, and chicken taco. It was good. Service was great. Decor was nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

Went there on a mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Valet parked us immediately, seated right away, chips and salsa right on it. The wait staff were amazing, Christina was ours and just wonderful. The Sangrita swirl was ordered in a pitcher, and our glasses were kept full the entire time we were there. I had the Masitas de Peurco. It was so good that I went home looking for recipes. The staff said it is their best dish and I can see why. Sounds like a lot of the experiences for people have been due to the place being busy and popular. Maybe going off hours like we did is a good plan, if you really want to try the place. Otherwise, if you are there for the vibe and crowds, the other stuff should be expected in a place this good.

A lady and her friend skipped the wait and sat down at a table without going to the front. My friend told our waiter they just came up and sat down. We were told that yes it was wrong of them to skip the wait. But now they are sitting at the table it would be rude to tell them to get up. WTF????
So let that be a lesson. If it is crowded just sit at a table on the patio. It will be rude of them to tell you to get up.

Beautiful restaurant. Our group got put in the corner window and it was a truly pleasant dinner experience. The bar special tacos de Patos were delicious and make for a unique dining experience.
Pro tip: this places margaritas actually have enough tequila

Horrible service. I am sitting here right now, been here for 2.5 hours, our table just got our food not long ago, took well over 30 minutes to even get our drinks, any time something has come out it has been wrong, the staff does not seem concerned at all about all of the mess ups they’ve had tonight, not one person has apologized for our wait or food or anything. Can’t wait until we finally see someone to get our check and leave!

Found it very disrespectful and rude of the staff at the front receiving customers speaking only Spanish. English should be the standard language for excellent customer service.
