We came for brunch with out of town guests. The dining area is picturesque and aesthetic but the music is loud... It was hard having conversations with our group of 5. Crab Deviled Eggs-I found it tasty, our group found it bland with just heat. Mac and cheese side-creamy and was ok. Chicken Sandwich-messy but good. Cinnamon roll- was ok Overall good service with ok food for brunch.

It was the highest rated place opened at 10 am. It is located near hotel and were almost full. We took egg burrito and ham/cheese sandwich. Potatoes were not well cooked but overall it was okey.

Very nice restaurant attached to Yotel, we went looking for chicken and waffles and were very happy with our meal. The chicken was very tender, waffle was very flavorful, waitress suggested the spicy maple syrup that was very good. Overall an amazing dining experience. They also had live music that was a very nice touch.

Ordered chicken sandwich which was great, fries were very well seasoned and tasty. We told the waiter we only had 30min and he said no problem, got us food and check in and out in 30min. Outdoor seating was nice. Right when you walk in Art and Soul it did smell heavy of cigarette smoke which I took a point off of atmosphere for.

The brunch menu is so good! Ended up getting a chicken sandwich and it was so crispy! Loved the season fries too. The location isn’t the best or most convenient unless you’re in a hotel right nearby. We told our server we had to be out in 30 mins and our food was delivered quickly and he brought our check quickly too!

This was such a savvy and cozy spot! We were a few minutes short of arriving for breakfast, but the lunch menu did not disappoint. Our server was friendly and quite helpful in assisting with our food selections. The Maryland Crab Deviled Eggs, Smoked Chicken Salad with Chipotle Vinaigrette, and the 8 oz. Sirloin Steak were all beautifully plated and even better tasting! If we could’ve sampled the entire menu, we would’ve; but, we’ll be back for more!

I was walking around DC and I looked up Black Owned Restaurants and this one came up. Not sure if it’s actually black owned but that’s okay cuz the food and service was good. I didn’t realize it was apart of the hotel. Really nice aesthetic on the inside. Very warm and inviting as I was greeted by the hostess. I sat by the bar and the bartender gave me the menu and made suggestions of what I should get. I trusted his judgment and got the Chefs Special which was roughly $42. I got the mimosa, which was not bottomless, got the Buttermilk Chicken and Waffles plus the house made blueberry bread. Everything tasted amazing. The mimosas was a really tall glass so I definitely felt he buzz, bartender out a splash of OJ in it so that was appreciated. Chicken and waffles were seasoned through and through while the waffle was soft and fluffy on the inside with a nice crisp. And the blueberry bread was simply amazing. I strongly recommend the blueberry bread. Definitely a spot to check out in DC.

we were staying at the yotel next door and came here a couple of times for happy hour and a free 'high tea' that we won from the trivia night. happy hour beers and snacks were worth the price, although I don't think I would've normally paid $65 for the afternoon tea, as delicious and aesthetically pleasing as it was (for a special occasion perhaps)!

SOOO TASTY!!! There quite a variety of foods - it’s hard to categorize the type of food… but everything we had was SO GOOD! The spring fever drink was AMAAAAZING! The steak was so yummy! The brunch was especially tasty!! That Benedict was AMAZINGGGGG!! Only disappointment was the lack of bougie coffee options at breakfast haha - for how bougie the rest is, I kinda expected some more coffee options, but the food was AMAZING! Literally didn’t have to leave the hotel…the food was so good each time!
