Stopped in for a late lunch without a reservation, was seated immediately. The brunch prix fixe menu looked perhaps too abundant so we went with lighter options with no regrets. Great bruschetta and the eggplant appetizer was excellent. Pizza margherita was very good - particularly the mozzarella.

I went with a girlfriend of mine for a leisurely splurge day about Georgetown. Decided on Ristorante Piccolo for dinner on a Friday, walk-in was available as it was just before the dinner rush, and had our pick of the free table in the nook by the window, underneath the stairs. Such a delightful place! We lucked out in getting seats without reservation on a Saturday evening (thank you, Achmed) and had the most wonderful dinner experience. Accompanied by fine wine, excellent food and live violin music the last of which was most unexpected.

Elegant Italian cuisine. The place is very dreamy and romantic even from its outdoor design, and it’s located in the neighborhood of Georgetown which only adds to this thematic. Everything we ordered was as tasty as can be and it personally won a spot as one of the best Italian places in DC.
