I must admit that I didn’t expect even the salad served at Thunder Burger to be quite well done! I definitely appreciate all of the hard work that went into making the food look and taste good.
Not to mention that the names of the dishes and drinks on the menu put a smile on my face.
While I would like to see this place have a pool table and a karaoke stage one of these days, all in all, for what I paid for, I really like this restaurant. I just wish that tax wasn’t so expensive though. Otherwise, I would like to take my boyfriend here one of these days.
The Pig in a Cow Suit burger was really good but the sweet potato fries stole the show. It might have been the best sweet potato fries I’ve had in my life. The sauces on the side were also really good. I will definitely be back!
Vibe was cool. Food was OK, I’ve had better. Burger lacked flavor. It was a lot of food though, I couldn’t finish the plate.
Hostess and waiter were both good and attentive. I’d revisit for drinks, not food though.
I took my mom to have dinner at Thunder Burger and Bar today, and honestly this place does not hold back. Top-notch dish items and service. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and the food is incredibly savory. Thunder Burger is a world-class establishment in every aspect, and is definitely enough reason just to visit Georgetown!
The burgers are creative, flavorful and overall pretty delicious. They allow you customize toppings and cook temp. The Buffalo Stomp and Love me Tender burgers are a must try.
A little cramped in there, but a nice vibe.
Service at bar was excellent .... I got to try a new beer... was crowded at the time... had great conversations at the bar with patrons as well.
Food at happy hr was exactly what I needed. Came out fast. Always great to come back from Washing your hands and finding your food waiting

Treated myself to an impromptu dinner while in town. Seating was immediate, with a very friendly server who gave me good advice on how to cook my bison burger.
They've got sidewalk/outdoor seating available, which if the weather is right gives you a great opportunity to soak in Georgetown while you eat.
Definitely hope to make my way back next time I'm in DC.

Seriously a good burger! We came here after some shopping and wanted to try something new. We were greeted immediately and were able to sit outside near the street. The staff was very nice and efficient.
The burgers are very large and seasoned very well. Much better than most other local burger places I have been to. The ability to customize your burger is really great and they have a wide selection of toppings including some really nice cheese options. The fries are also very good and the overall portion is wry large. We both got medium and it was cooked perfectly! I definitely would come back here again. I’m terms of price it is a bit high at $15 for the burger. I recommend sitting outside and enjoying Georgetown.
Went here for happy hour and it was great. They have indoor and outdoor seating . We sat inside but honestly it was warm and we wished we had sat outside. Our server was really nice. They have gluten free buns ( I didn’t have a burger) but our friend did and it looked amazing. We did order buffalo and dry rub wings and they were really good. They also have lots of beers ( including beer flights) and a full bar.
The manager Simo was extremely nice. Our server was great and we were impressed with the food and atmosphere. Thank you!
Had drinks outside on a Sunday afternoon. Lunch drink prices were reasonable and tasted good. Service was good as well. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would return again.
The server was brand new. She tried but didn't say she was new. I wouldve cut her some slack for not knowing the menu or bar liquor.
Kinda felt rushed. I think we were her last and she kept checking in us which is good but kinda pushy.
The bar itself is good. Good food. Sports was on. Major plus. Bartender very attentive. Other servicer not bad. Will try it again.
