Modern eatery with a menu to match. We arrived during brunch and the menu was varied enough to please everyone. The cocktail, beer and wine list was quite extensive, and because it was brunch, there were also bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. The restaurant has a cool vibe with concrete and wood
We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming and there were many people enjoying the bar scene here The food was fantastic. We had the shrimp and grits, the pasta and the rootbeer pork chop. Everything was flavorful, interesting, new and delicious.
Late review: I came for DC restaurant week. The skirt steak was good. Had to pay extra on top of the normal restaurant week price. The soups were good. I would come here just for the savory butternut squash bisque! Highly recommend the soup. I'll be back for the soup!
I’d say this was a decent meal, but not mind-blowing. The cocktails were good. Overall it was a bit overpriced. We split a couple appetizers, the lamb chop special, and the key lime pie. The pie was the best part :)
A very popular place in the Foggy Bottom area, you need to make reservations if you want a table. However, if you are on your own or in a small group, the seats at the bar seem to turn over quickly. I only stopped in for a quick drink and bite to eat but I found the atmosphere and decor fun and live
Came here for a Saturday brunch. The staff was hospitable, restaurant clean and food was good. Huge drink list which is always good too with lots of specialty cocktails. The brunch pretzels were a steal and I loved the flatbread.
District Commons is a great place to enjoy dinner or happy hour near GWU. This restaurant can become very busy particularly the bar area. District Commons has some very good happy hours which may be why. They also have oysters on the half. Districts Common has a variety of dinner offerings from
Food was presented wonderfully but some dishes (like the ravioli) lacked flavor. The service and atmosphere here was excellent. Pretzel bread was my favorite appetizer and the scallops were good as well.
Great food! Great service! Great beer! It can get really loud in there but...it's hoppin' instead of dreary. The place is set up really well and the menu is a twist on comfort food. The shrimp and grits, portobella mushroom, brick pressed chicken, and the tagliatelle are all recommendations my p
This was a great place and setting for brunch. There were a lot of food options and bottomless is always a must. The waitstaff was helpful and attentive. The shrimp and grits was amazing!
Everything was perfect today for our Sunday brunch. First time in this restaurant and we left very pleased. The food was great, my steak melted right in my mouth; great medium rare taste! The price was reasonable given the quality of food and service. José, our waiter, took care of us in a friendl
Wonderfull place to have dinner with friends. You should certainly taste the meat and the mussels. The portions are big, so you won't leave being hungry for sure. It is usually quite crowded in the evening, so you better reserve the table in advance. The service is nice.
We came here for dinner. It was very nice and the service was spot on. We had red curry mussels, they were really good! I wish the portion was larger, mussels are cheap- that pot should have been filled! I had the shrimp and grits- that was really nice and a good portion. The GF had the fig and pig
The food was phenomenal and service was very quick although slightly strange. They kept taking away and replacing silverware seemingly at random. Sometimes I'd have 2 forks, sometimes I'd have 1 fork and 1 knife. Then they'd come and take a clean fork and replace it with a knife. I'm pretty sure the
The food was excellent and the service is on point, the only thing missing from this brunch experience is some music, even if it's low background music Our waitress Nicole was on point, we had a large party and yet our glasses never got a chance to get empty
Seriously a great restaurant and extra stars for a drink menu celebrating the Nationals World Series win: specialty drinks & prices for the entire restaurant instead of just at the bar. The best corn & crab chowder - and a generous portion, served hot too like soup should be too. Delicious Atlantic
Our server was really nice. My crankcase sandwich was one of the better ones I've had, the sweet pretzel starter was like dessert and really hit the spot for the fall. I was told the Monte Cristo was also delicious.
A great pre- Kennedy Center dinner at the bar. A great bar and restaurant vibe. Seth, our barkeep, was amiable and very helpful with suggestions and he fixed excellent cocktails. Happy Hour has great food and drink specials. The Smoked Trout Deviled Egg appetizer was very good. Our Salmon with fres
