Dupont Italian Kitchen - Washington DC - Photo album

Based on good reviews we made a reservation during our stay in Washington DC. We ordered bruschetta en fried mozzarella as appetizer! Both appetizers were excellent. As main plate we ordered a spaghetti carbonara, a pasta seafood and a pasta calamares. The three plates were excellent. A few downsize
Great bottomless brunch, I went last week and had some great mimosas. The atmosphere was great, or at least I think it was. The drinks were so good that my judgement wasn’t the best by the end.
Had a great time and delicious food at DuPont Italian Kitchen. The food was tasty old-school Italian food, which is sometimes hard to come by these days. Just simple comfort food that tastes good. Our waiter Luis was attentive and helpful and the restaurant matched the food - just what I was lookin
although the main menu has not changed in many, many years… The food is very good and I’ve never had an issue with anything in there. It’s also relatively inexpensive for DC. Of note, they have recently been adding weekly specials to the menu with items such as meatloaf, branzini, eggplant lasagna,
Loved DuPont Italian Kitchen! This was a great, classy spot for some late night Italian cravings with friends. Though a little more on the expensive side, this place was delicious and perfect for a great end to our evening. Loved the drinks and the service at this place! Would definitely come back a
Staff was friendly. But the food was not as good as expected. Seafood pasta was not as good, no garlic breads, we have had better seafood pasta. The greek pizza was OK, maybe our order from the menu selection was not good. However, the ambience and the drinks were great
Food was good and prices were reasonable. Service was really good, considering the 15 people in my party with ordering drinks and dinner.
My friends and I are looking for Italian restaurant aroud the area. Found this place.. our male server is very friendly and the foods are great! we even met a lovely lady who's sitting right next to us. She used to work for the IO of IBEW.
I love Italian food, and this place really impressed me! As a tourist, you never know what your going to get when you pick a place. My family ordered a wide variety of appetizers, salads, and dishes, and we were All impressed! Truly a great find in DC. It's a must if you love Italian food. I h
Supper lgbtq friendly and the food was great. I ordered the seafood pasta .Yummie
Traveling alone for work so I ordered based on what would be good in a to go box in a hotel: chicken parmigiana and mozzarella sticks. Tasty choices, hit just the right pasta spot, but understandably not mind blowing. I’d still rate my meal a 5 star though because it was exactly what I needed it to
There are very few Italian restaurants that I enjoy in the D.C. area. I don't count any of the chain restaurants that claim to be Italian. DuPont Italian is reliable, tasty and friendly. It feels like a locals place, but has the food to back it up. We enjoyed our meal and the wine, although I wish i
I’m visiting DC for a long weekend and thought I’d try this place out for an early dinner before the crowds invaded. The pomegranate margarita happy hour special was small but powerful. I think the second was even more potent than the first. Then I had my go-to for Italian restaurants- the chicken P
An old favorite. Food excellent although the portions not generous. Service excellent from the manager to the server. A bit run down in terms of ambiance but still a delightful choice!
I have been to this restaurant twice now and loved it more each time. The staff are incredibly friendly and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The drinks are also strong :) there are also drag shows next door every Monday night!
I had the seafood pasta, Mozzarella cheese sticks, garlic bread and red sangria. The food tastes amazing, authentic and flavored. The customer service was impeccable. We sat out on the patio and the sever provided us with bug spray and citronella candle to fight off of the bugs. I would give this re
