Wonderful menu. Best Shrimp and grits on the planet. Quieter than most local places. We could actually have a conversation. TVs in the bar if you are a sports fan. Wonderful art of local DC scenes.
I went to Clyde's with several people after a work event later in the evening. They were able to accommodate us all with no reservation required. The waiter was helpful in explaining the menu items and checking in with the group. And above all the appetizers and main dishes were all very tasty.
We've been to this location a few times and it's been a little hit or miss.

Had lunch here while at a conference. Food and service were wonderful. Latte, Crab dip, chicken salad, and turkey sandwich were delicious. Quaint atmosphere. 5 stars 🌟
Sure, it’s load and cold, but it s a large solid place to meet up with multiple generations of families, friends, and get brunch or lunch or dinner. Or drinks. It was our first time in DC and the food here was delish! We had oysters (my favorite) and so so so good, nachos, the steak salad and the patty melt. Topped it off with the best brownie Sunday ever. Def coming back during our stay
Our server was attentive and courteous. It has been a few years since visiting Clyde's, but I always have a great dining experience.
Pub atmosphere. The prices were reasonable, the food was very tasty. Loved the blackened shrimp tacos!❤️❤️❤️ Jalapeno cilantro sauce was amazing.

This was a great spot to hit prior to a concert. We didn't have a reservation but they could accommodate us. My burger was so good I wanted another after the concert 😁
