Rest assured, although they are Legal Sea Foods, none of their ingredients are over 18 years old and you don't have to sign a consent form before devouring them. If you're famous enough, you'll get your picture taken and hung in the front. I tried, they wouldn't take my future fame as credentials. I started my meal with legal sangria - a very refreshing and dangerous fruit punch and whetted my appetite with oysters. They tasted fresh, plumb, and briny. One of their popular dishes is the New England clam chowder. The dish came out hot and filled up with clams. It was not too creamy and not too thick. I sprinkled black pepper on top and ignored the crackers. I felt so Asian, having soup as part of my appetizers. Shrimp popcorn was fun to eat, not too salty and went well with the buffalo sauce to spice it up. My main entree was the crab cake combo. It was not the best crab cake I ever had. While it lacked the aromatics I was used to, It made up with the generous portion of crab. It was mostly crab with minimal filler. The The scallops, and the shrimps were all seasoned and grilled just right, not over-cooked. Highlight of the meal was the dessert, warm chocolate pudding cake. You need to have it if you are a chocolate lover. It is a flourless cake, moist and rich in dark flavor. If you are a seafood lover, give this restaurant a try and join the 'Legalize sea foods' movement.

Delicious food! Pricey, but you probably know that going in. Our waitress gave us extra bread with our to-go boxes which was such a nice surprise since we had expressed how much we liked the bread, haha. Made reservations online because if there is a Caps hockey game happening, good luck finding a restaurant with seating! Garlic shrimp was AMAZING I highly recommend

Just wow! The atmosphere the service was EXCELLENT (William) our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered great recommendations! We just had to ask if they'd be open on the holiday and since they are they can expect to see us there! The food..... it has been a long time since I've been blown away ! We had the Snapper Verde and the Louisiana Catfish Matrimony along with Crab Dip and Rhode Island Calamari !!!! It was packed with flavor but didn’t taste one bit of SALTY, everything blended well together... tried to make it back for Christmas but sadly they were closed early ;( I am trying to go at least five more times before I leave so I can taste some more items from the menu !

This was our 1st time eating at this location. The food was tasty. Music nice. Our server Lena although friendly. Made us feel some kind of way. Compared to how she treated the guest on either side of us. She seemed to be much more friendly to them. We don't like to think it was because of how we were dressed. Jeans & sneakers. Or that we're black. Which would be really sad. Considering she's black as well. We'll be back. Dressed differently. And hope that Lena is there.

Service was really warm. Though the server came to my table too frequently for taking away my empty plates...The New England Fried Clam with mayo was my favorite! The Seafood Casserole was acceptable, as there was not too much lobster in it but scallop instead. And I have to say the Maple Bread Pudding was way too sweet.....But the vanilla ice cream and maple syrup on it were amazing!

Excellent cream of crab soup. The new England clam chowder is also delicious. The one thing I have to point out though is the bowl is what everyone else calls a cup. Too small. Their crab cakes are really good. The place is elegant, right across Capital One Arena and Clyde's. Very good location nearby the Gallery Place metro station. Server was attentive and professional.

Great selection of seafood. The ambiance, service and food , everything is good👍 Ambiance and decor : 5/5 Location : 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food : 5/5 Cost : $$$ (100 for a dinner and drinks for 2) Value for $ : definitely yes if you ❤️ seafood. We made a reservation through opentable an hour before going there. We were seated right away when we reached the restaurant. Service was really good. Food was good as well. Would definitely visit again.
