2 Amy's Norcia is my favorite pizza anywhere. I've eaten a lot of pizza and even NY or New Haven, while amazing, still are second to the Norcia, imo.

Classic Neapolitan pizza. I had a simple Margherita pizza and some Sangiovese to wash it down. You can't go wrong. We arrived early on a Saturday afternoon and it was not crowed at all. We were seated right away. The pizza is quality and the price is commensurate for a Neapolitan pie in the DC area. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. I'm looking forward to going again and trying some apps and the homemade gelato for desert.

Love love love this restaurant. It's such a gem. The food and service are both impeccable and it feels like you're eating in Europe. Highlyyyy recommend the Etna 2.0 eggplant pizza. I didn't even think I'd like it that much from the sound of it but BOY was it the best pizza I've ever put in my mouth. I'm still dreaming about it to this day. All the appetizers I've tried are mouth wateringly delicious, especially the meatballs. Also recommend the almond cake!!! Scrumptious. Even their cappuccino is A++. Skip all the restaurants nearby and come here, you won't regret it. Bonus: no tip!! Cost of service is included with the food :)

Best Neapolitan pizza in DC, and some of the best Neapolitan pizza in the country (and we just crossed it - 44 states). This place specializes in FRESH ingredients for both their pizzas & appetizers, and it really shows — far more than other restaurants. They rotate pizzas & appetizers regularly for seasonally fresh items. The prosciutto is to die for - especially the higher end one. I think the Santa Brigida with prosciutto is the best pizza, my wife likes the Norcia, and my mom the Etna 2.0. The wines are also very good - the Super Tuscan goes very well with pizza. The almond cake with cherries is an amazing dessert. This is our favorite restaurant in DC. It’s also very family friendly. No reservations (which I love), so if you go after 6 be prepared to wait 20-30 mins.

Felt comfortable dining alone. Food, service, and atmosphere was right. I tried the sardines (first time!!), which were surprisingly nice. Pizza was delicious. Cannolis and espresso were excellent.

If there has ever been a restaurant that exemplified The art of simplicity it’s 2 Amys. My wife discovered this restaurant through a list of popular spots and while it was off our beaten path I am so glad we went, and I am 💯 coming back. With two outdoor patios, one out front and one in back there are many seating options including a small bar if you’re flying solo. The menu is well balanced with many starter options, salads and of course pizza. There are several main course options including a porchetta which I will get to in a minute. We opted to go heavy with starters as we were four and hungry. The anchovies came with a dark bread and soft butter, deliciously salty and sweet at the same time. Deviled eggs were rich and savory and vanished quickly. The meatballs were also a huge hit, small and crisp exterior, dressed with sauce while staying tender on the inside. Lastly there was the caponata which was exceptional and so much so, we specifically saved a little to take home so we could try it a second time with a fresh palate. The pizzas were hard to choose from as the all looked fun. We had one classic margarita style and two with the homemade sausage which was spicy and sweet, as it should be. The dough was just the right balance of light with a little char and a little chew. We loved them all, count on one person no matter what your light eater says. Now to the porchetta. This dish is served cold (room temperature) which makes it that much more epic. The skin was crispy and amazing while the meat was a perfect balance of salt and spice. The entire slice of meat was served with chickpeas and greens which made for a perfect summer meal. While not one to go for dessert it was hard to pass on a homemade cannoli. The filling was cloud light with a hint of orange. Amazing! No meal is enjoying without exceptional service and here 2 Amys did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in the door to when we walked out the door everyone was smiles and filled with hospitality. One of our guests noted your water glass never gets to 1/2 full as someone ALWAYS notices and tops your glass up. All in all this is my new favorite spot in DC. Unpretentious, unapologetic, exceptional and artistic while keeping it simple.

Good food options. It was fresh and delicious food. I did not like the Mushroom pizza that much but their sausage pizza was delicious . Olives were ok. Service on the phone was good and the food was ready for pick up in 20 mins as they advertise. Nice place in the area to try out. Is it the best pizza in the DC? The answer is No. But give this place a try if you are in the area.

I am European who visited Italy min 50 times before relocating to the US 6 years ago. This is hands down THE best Italian food outside of Italy i ever had. I LOVE everything about this place. The authentic food, the outstanding delicious in store baked bread, the home made Limoncello to the "Service included". The this my new favorite restaurant. Trust me, you have to try this.

Servers were in training, so service was a little slow but was alright. Wine service was interesting; both serving staff and manager seemed to lack a lot of basic wine knowledge. For a restaurant with a higher priced wine list that was surprising, and though they were very willing to work with us, it was like we were teaching them about wine. The pizza was good, though some of them were not as flavorful as expected; however it may have been due to us being there towards the end of the night. The appetizer we order was the best part of the meal! We would come back and try it again sometime.

This restaurant is a fantastic experience. The pizza was amazing The staff was authentic The wine was beautiful The atmosphere was alive I took the bus from the hotel to 2 Amy's. I only had one regret from this experience, that I did not get to share the experience with my wife, Margaret. I ordered olives....I mean, when olives are on the menu you should get them. These were well seasoned with fresh rosemary and a nice hint of hot pepper. I had two different wines and as wine lore goes each one could have a paragraph written for them. The pizza. What I came for. I ordered the tomato & fresh mozz pie. I added pine nuts and peppers they called hotties, they weren't hot, but they were damn tasty! They asked if I wanted the pizza sliced, I said of course. I've never used a fork and knife to eat pizza until today. It was delicate and yet bountiful with flavor. Every now and again you encounter food that is on a level of art. This was one of those times. Now I just have to bring Margaret and I'd make a special trip just to do so. Please note in one of the pics the olives are clear across the table so I'd stop eating them. 2 Amys pays their staff professional wages and for this they should get a six star review. kudos

I really appreciate the freshness of all the ingredients at 2 Amy's. Everything was seasoned to perfection, and what stood out to me was the exciting selection of anchovies, which is a rarity. I tried the mortadella and tuna puree, and it was easily one of my favorite dishes. The pizza is consistently delicious, and I can't forget to mention the great service. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.

2 Amys serves up some of the best pizza in Washington, DC. The wood-fired pizza has a chewy, thin crust that is absolutely delicious.
