The Bombay club is a great restaurant. I love it both for lunch and especially at dinner. It has such beautiful atmosphere great food great service, a fabulous bartender and a nice piano player. They just don't make them like this anymore. Highly rated and recommended reservations necessary.
Dinner tonight at the Bombay Club with my brother. My first time trying this restaurant. The restaurant was not too busy tonight, most patrons were sitting inside in the very well designed interior. We chose to sit outside in the nice breeze. We were seated immediately, no waiting. Staff were extrem
Worthy but the wine list could use some tweaking to make sure available wines pair better with the spicy food.
Nicely decorated giving the establishment an upscale feel
Wonderful dinner; definetly fine dining take on good Indian. Street parking on the weekdays is nice. We had the crab and paneer appetizers, the madras fish curry, lassie gobi chicken, Dahl mahkani, naan, and gulag jamun. Mixed drinks were amazing.
First time here for a Bday dinner. The ambiance was pleading & classy and the food delicious. We had an elaborate meal. We devoured our crab Kora & Kasundi scallops. For our main course, each of us ordered an entrée and shared. Kerala Snapper, Shrimp Moilee, Lamb curry & Bharli Vangi ( eggplant di
Been going to Bombay Club for 10 years or so and it's never disappointed. Everything we've had is at least very good and sometimes sublime. Feels like old school fine dining; professional & well-mannered staff, tables not too close together, even a piano player! Love it.
Strongly vouched by locals, and upon a recommendation from someone, I ran to this place to eat dinner here.
I tried the Club Thali and it was as authentic as it could be. The fish, lamb and chicken were all delicious. The service made it a place that you want to visit again and again. Must try for
Outstanding food, service and atmosphere. It never felt too busy, tho it filled up. We were able to get reservations the day-of. The House special Gin and Tonic was great, hints of cardamom and a little pepper spice. We split a Kale appetizer for a group of four and the only complaint was it left u
Love this place! The food is consistently fantastic - the lamb chops are probably my favorite - and it has a very posh DC established club vibe. The live piano a few nights a week makes it feel even more special.
Had a birthday dinner recently, the food was authentic and amazing, service was quick and the staff was very professional. Must go if you're looking for a fine dining Indian Restaurant.
Loved the appetizers - my favorites being the Murgh Malai Kabab and the Lal Maas. Tried the Mirchi G&T cocktail and that was a hit. The entrees were a bit of a let down though - especially the chicken dum biryani and the Chili Chicken. Ambience and the service were 5 stars.
First I want to start by giving a shoutout to Heather, she is amazing! I called to make a dinner reservation for a party of 6. She was so accommodating and really helpful getting us a table at the time we wanted. Some changes to our plan occurred that made me reduce our reservation to 4 people, but
Wow what a mixed bag of reviews! While I agree with all the 1 star reviews about the lack of information of the no child policy, I have to say that it was quite the vibe. The atmosphere was very sophisticated, the service was fantastic, and the food was tasty! The live piano was a great addition.
Food was fabulous. Crispy kale chaat is must try. Loved their desserts including mango cheesecake. Service was little bit slow maybe because it was Saturday and it was busy time. They sure had live music that very nice.
We had a visit to Washington DC and looking for an Indian restaurant for Lunch. While searching in google found this place. It was an amazing experience and served with delicious food. We ordered for Samudran Thali , it had different fish and vegetarian items. They also gave Roti along with Thali ,
The best meal since Decmber and believe me I have been to.many restaurants since. The spicy food is so skillfully made that you taste the various spices individually as well as a whole. The decor is understated elegance and service was impeccable. Coming back soon!
