The restaurant was very clean with plenty of seating, and the workers were super friendly. We tried the Egg and Cheese sandwich on a croissant with sausage, plus a blue berry cream cheese bagel. They were both delicious and were made quickly. Will be stopping here again before we leave.

This is a great place to eat! Their food is not only excellent along with their coffee but very ample and quality service. Try their bagel, lox & cream cheese. The best! Very convenient when you need a quick bite & are in DC. Highly recommend!
We stopped by this excellent cafe while vacationing in Washington (visiting from Canada). It was much larger inside and had a wide assortment to eat for breakfast, had the counter snacks we needed for the car and excellent coffee. Nice and clean inside.
Breakfast and sandwich ingredients are always very fresh. Excellent kitchen prep team that work well together. Fairly short wait for your food.
Simply delicious food at a reasonable price. Once you order the food is ready pretty fast, even when the line is long. This is such a great place to grab a bite to eat!

I love this deli. The food quality and service are consistently top notch. My favorite menu items are the mid-day energizer and the volcano sushi roll. The paninis are also really satisfying. They also have a great selection of convenient snacks and beverages.
Sandwiches here are consistently good. Even at lunch hour, when line can get a bit long, they move along quickly. Variety is huge.
They also offer sushi, I'm not a connoisseur, but flavor is great and they're always fresh.
Great place to eat. My lunch started early at 11am, so not much wait. Boar's Head meat...makes a great sandwich. The fresh mozzarella panini was great. The sushi was not ready... I'll come back for sure. We weren't blown away for the five stars though, but really good.

So glad to have discovered this great cafe on my first trip to DC. The location is great, the service and food are wonderful. If you are staying in the Capitol Hill area it is a great place to grab a muffin for breakfast or a snack for in the room later. Personally, I loved the sushi!
