Delicious! We came here for a quick bite and everything was pretty yummy. They have natural juices as well those were pretty good. The place is small place not to many tables, however food and service was good.

What a lovely experience! We rode our bikes from DuPont Circle to the restaurant for dinner and walked into a quaint space with a welcoming staff. When I lived in dc I order from this restaurant a lot, and my go to dish was either sopa de res or the seafood soup. For someone who love soup their food is very comforting. I’m back in dc to visit and I just had to come back to el rinconcito. Once again, not disappointed!
El Rinconcito appears to have a loyal local following, and with good reason. For lunch I had the chicharrones fritos ($17.55, tax included) which I found to be a simple but satisfying dish. The service was friendly and prompt.
Great food and friendly folks. Nice authentic dishes with rich flavors. Popular with local Hispanic crowd which is a major plus. Staff are friendly and helpful. Yum!

Absolutely delicious pupusas for a great price. Definitely get the revueltas! The person I was dining with ordered the tamales de elote, which she said were also delicious. What a great hole in the wall! It was so cold and we were looking for something warm, and we saw that they served soup and that it was relatively inexpensive, and man were we blown away by the beef stew. It was SOOOO GOOD. Food is very tasty. I had the beef chimichanga and I thought it was pretty good. Also the pricing is very reasonable. The platter for chimichanga was $11. This place is in the heart of downtown DC so it's hard to get a better deal than that.
