Everything about this place is amazing. The atmosphere is great, there’s indoor and outdoor seating options (both outdoor options are covered). The food is served similar to tapas style, they recommend about 3 plates per person. The pita was endless and served fresh and warm. The hummus is creamy an
It was our first time visiting and the food was amazing, the service was prompt and friendly. The flaming cheese is done table side and is delicious and worth it for the show alone. We will definitely be coming back!
Great food quality - their flat bread was one of the best I've tried in the past few years. Food was good for the price, and it was a nice neighborhood location to visit. Service was not as attentive. All tables were full at the time I was there, but even considering that, it was difficult to get th
I was pleasantly surprised by every little detail of this place. My husband planned our anniversary celebration and all the team helped out with the process: since arriving to our reserved table without waiting, to starting the night with champagne and ending it with dessert… I was very grateful to
Delicious Turkish cuisine in a great location. Came here for dinner and was quite impressed. We were seated right away at an outdoor table. Our wait person was efficient and pleasant. We opted to share several small plates. Two of my favorites were the grape leaves and the baklava for dessert. The B
A Turkish coworker lauded the authenticity of the Turkish menu items, and I have to say they play well on an American palette! Excellent temperature control, great flavor balance on the dishes, a wide array of menu items, and the service is outstanding. Would certainly come again.
Excellent meal with great, attentive service. Small plates dining makes sense, and it’s delicious. The taramosalata was the best I’ve ever had, and the grilled octopus is the most delicious thing I’ve eaten in months!
The restaurant is beautiful. When we arrived, the hostess greeted us with a warm smile and super pleasant. Right away we were seated and the server came. We ordered and about 5 mins later food began arriving. The presentation was gorgeous and everything was flavorful.
Packed on a Friday night, it is not easy to secure a reservation at the wonderful, Agora of Dupont Circle. While music can be loud, the joy of of friend’s laughter and glasses clinking make the atmosphere electric. Dishes of all sizes and flavors may be had, but I most recommend the Ottoman Rice, Br
Good food but menu is deceiving. We ordered what we thought were entrees but they were really appetizer-sized. My dining partner got the lamb chops and it came with just two. They weren't listed as mezze, which was in a different section, and they were more expensive so we expected more food. I got
4 stars/ September 9th, They have really good food but the server was a bit rude.. 3 stars/October 4th, I revisited this place again, but this time I encountered another issue. The Adana kebab I ordered was cooked medium-well instead of well-done, as I had requested. When I tried it, it was still m
We came on a Thursday evening and it was pretty busy but the space is so big that it doesn’t feel cramped. Host took great care of us and the food was fantastic. The menu highlights for us were the Cauliflower, Imam Bayildi, and the Mystic Flora drink. The künefe was also delicious.
While my husband and I don't get in to DC very often, it seems like we always, always gravitate to Agora. Even with our efforts to branch out, we keep coming back for the incredible food and the even better people. I legit dream about the taramasalata, the borek with whatever magical tomato dip that
Great place for bottomless brunch! All the food and drinks were delicious, but the best part is that the staff is very attentive and they truly keep the dishes coming (not like some bottomless brunch places that take a very long time for the food to arrive). Would recommend for a relaxing and fun ti
Highly impressed with this spot. I did brunch there with a few friends and the food was good. Servers were nice too.
I had my birthday dinner there last night with a group of 8 friends. It was perfect from the decorations to all the food courses. The cocktails, wine, dessert and tea& coffee were also delicious and all well presented overall. Melissa the events manager is out of this world! She was prompt with her
Really good experience. Excellent service and delicious food. We sat in the patio and enjoyed a wonderful summer evening with friends. We shared a variety of dishes and everything was delicious and nicely presented. Definitely a great place to go in a large or small group.
