Really nice spot for holiday tea, with outstanding service from Allison, who was well versed in the wide variety of teas, and the rest of the crew. We liked the tower of sandwiches and sweets better than tea at the Willard. The Blue Duck Tavern easily accommodated Gluten-Free allergy. It’s a little noiisy but very comfortable setting.

We had brunch and breakfast here and may have to come back for dinner at some point. This is located inside the Park Hyatt DC and we ordered the duck confit hash, bone marrow appetizer, single crab cake, hand cut fries, eggs benedict (not pictured) and avocado toast with salmon. Bone marrow was exceptional with the provided bread and probably the star of brunch. Crab cake was also excellent with the sauce provided. Duck confit hash was very good but I did prefer the crab cake more. The hand cut fries were really good and the size of them was enjoyable to see. The following day we got eggs benedict which was probably one of the best benedicts I've ever had. Bread was perfect and just a hint of mustard I think was key. The avocado toast was fine and nothing to write home about but still enjoyable.

A very thoughtful restaurant where the staff seemed to have telepathic abilities, knowing your needs. The food was delicious, and trying bone marrow for the first time was astonishing. If it were a Chinese dish, it would be perfect with multiple bowls of rice. The apple pie at the end was delightful, satisfying my expectations with its perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, enhanced by a touch of cinnamon that brought out the apple's aroma. Lastly, they kindly surprised us with two honeymoon souvenirs and a menu signed by everyone. It was truly heartwarming and created an incredibly memorable experience.

Had dinner, drinks, and breakfast at this location. Breakfast was very good, we're Hyatt globalist so the vast majority of it was free for us so in that sense it was incredibly worth it. Coffee was on the strong side; if you like strong coffee you'll enjoy it. Breakfast entrees were well made and the gluten free coffee cake was the highlight. A few mistakes with our order but it didn't detract from our experience. Dinner had good flavor and was cooked accurately. Crab cake and salad for appetizers, salad was delicious and the crab cake was excellent. For entrees we had the duck and the lamb. The lamb entree was on the cool side when served which was not ideal but flavor was still quite good. Pureed potatoes were enjoyable. Drinks and wine were excellent; slightly pricey but truly worth it in the end because of the quality and taste. Would return.

Extraordinary service and great atmosphere! Went for brunch and found the dishes nothing too special. It was mostly the breakfast/brunch dishes you can get at most upscale places (except for the bone marrow I guess) but the dishes were very well-made.

The Blue Duck Tavern is not just a fantastic restaurant. It's actually one of the best restaurants in all of Washington DC. Located within the Park Hyatt, we walked over for breakfast and had one of the best outdoor dining experiences ever. The patio area is nicely insulated from the street, is covered well with umbrellas, and has a nice somewhat relaxing waterfall to look at and listen to while eating. The food and service were amazing too, making this a special place to dine at for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. If the weather is good, we highly recommend dining outside. Loved the Blue Duck Tavern!

Tried two desserts and the espresso. The chocolate cake was great, the strawberry with cream and crunchy was nice. But the espresso was the best of all. Rarely do i like an espresso this much. Located in the Park Hyatt hotel. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service. Duck, braised rib, beets appetizer, brussels sprouts were great. Fries were actually large blocks of fried mashed potato, so not entirely our thing. Portions were large. We’d definitely come back!

This is a usual place when we come visit my son Alex who is a regular at this fantastic restaurant. Impeccably clean, outstanding service and they rectified the error made which would not have happened at a different restaurant. Shiva delivered superb service. Thank you, we will always return as long as you maintain your great reputation

Both the breakfast and dinner were excellent. While we regrettably had to cancel our dinner reservation one night, they allow for you to order via room service, which we opted to do instead. It arrived quickly and piping hot. The crab cakes were delicious, as was the braised beef rib. We regrettably didn't get any pictures of those because we ate them too quickly! When we did eat in the restaurant, the staff were all very friendly and provided quick, attentive service. I have heard their brunch is great, we will have to stop by and check it out!

I went here with my girlfriend for our 1 year anniversary date. We had the beef rib, duck breast, and the house fries. The food was all delicious. We both agreed it was the best food we had had in a long time. The service was great as well. Shout out to Drew, our waiter, who was super attentive. We also had a cocktail each. The smoke show is a strong drink with scotch and mezcal. I thought it was really good. My girlfriend had the sour grapes and she loves it. I highly recommend this place. The prices are high but it was definitely worth it for us.

Came to DC for the cherry blossoms and to celebrate our anniversary. So glad we were able to get a reservation on a Saturday night. We loved everything we ordered, the beef rib was so flavorful but tender, the striped bass is light but fresh and the texture of the fish was so soft, the side order of cauliflower has great flavor and with a crispy outside, almost greens beans blended really well with the mushroom. We also got an apple pie as dessert, the pie crust is extremely thin but flaky, the apple filling is tangy but remains a very good texture (not overly soft). We couldn't finish it so took it back to our hotel and ate it the next morning, it still tasted really good! The whole experience sitting right in front of the open kitchen was really cool, we were able to see the chef dedicatedly finishing every dish before serving it. We really enjoyed our visit at the Blue Duck Tavern and we're impressed by the quality of each dish here.

We went there for my husband's birthday lunch and it was a great experience. We ordered couple of stuff and everything was great. The fish was okay but mostly the ambiance and service was awesome. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

It's well known that Blue Duck lost their Michelin status, but since then, the restaurant took on a new chef and has made a notable comeback. The food and service were both excellent. Standout dishes included the half roasted chicken, duck, and the signature bone marrow appetizer.

Fantastic food and service. Duck and braised beef rib are phenomenal. Came for birthday and they have my name on the menu! And even handwritten notes (in different languages) from the staff on the menu!! 10 out of 10 recommend.

Five-star all the way. Service, cuisine, ambiance. Just a really nice fine dining experience. My husband was there to celebrate becoming a citizen and our server was so sweet and told us about his becoming a citizen years earlier. He took such good care of us, we were just in Heaven from start to finish. Can’t wait to return!

Incredible food and service at this D.C hotel /restaurant. The duck was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The service was above and beyond and we were seated immediately, without a reservation. The bread was fresh and served with whipped butter. Portions were large, so we left with next day goodness! Highly recommend!
