We had a wonderful brunch here! The food are very delicious! The mussels are just beyond words😍they are so delicious! We also really liked the pâté - so flavorful by itself or in combination with the bread and the mustard. Tartine and Sea bass are also very good, highly recommended as well. The rest
We went for brunch and overall it was amazing. Great food, great service, and the atmosphere was chill and laid-back for a brunch, exactly what we were looking for. The french onion soup was perfectly executed, real highlight. And mussels!! One of the best mussels I’ve ever had. Great-sized mussel
service was a bit slow. it took a while for the servers to finally take our orders and to prepare the food. that being said, the food itself was beautifully presented and flavored. the salmon tartine was quite filling. loved the puff pastry on top of the escargot.
I’m torn on this review because I love supporting small businesses and restaurants. It wasn’t bad at all, but it felt like they were trying to get their feet settled and not ready for customers. Overall we all enjoyed, but we wouldn’t go back. The French onion soup was very sweet vs salty and sav
The interior decoration and overall atmosphere in this restaurant was great. It’s a perfect environment for a date or night out with friends. The entrees were all reasonably priced and my entire party was more than satisfied with their food. I ordered the pork with potato purée and mushrooms and I
The sea bass was delicious (caper sauce suer good) the chicken served with creamy potato on the side, was just ok. The honey gun cocktail yummy and dessert pavlova was great. I do Not recommend the onion soup, extremely sweet and bland. Service and atmosphere were good. Would return.
The ambiance of the restaurant is excellent! Since you step at the front door you feel transported to a european village at a small cottage. So cozy, elegant, comfortable. The food is really food, highly recommend the coc au vin and the mussels (delish!) . And don't skip dessert!
What a very cool and wonderful restaurant as soon as you enter you feel at ease and relaxed. The staff are super nice, the food is out of this world and then the whole place is an experience not to be missed. The menu choices are wonderful, the wine list superb and the service is just great. Do not
Chez Billy Sud has a super vibe! Atmosphere and Ambiance is neat, comfortable and elegant. The outside patio is cute! The whole place appears super clean. Servers are pleasant, communicative, efficient and knowledgeable. And most importantly the food is nicely presented, taste was delicious to a goo
Great staff, great food, great service. The menu has been pared down from times past, but it makes sense—focus on a few things you can execute well instead of a bunch of mediocre dishes. My only criticism is not from the staff but from the table sat next to me… entitled knit picker, a male Karen typ
Whether for an anniversary, birthday, or date night, Chez Billy Sud is the perfect place to celebrate. A small French bistro in Georgetown, this restaurant has an intimate atmosphere well reflected in its dishes. Every dish on their menu is a winner and you simply cannot go wrong. The poultry dishes
They said it's Michelle Obama's favorite restaurant. I found the mussels was great, bread was amazingly warm and crispy, but I am not a big fan of bread. The menu was simple. The staff was super kind.
Took my parents here for graduation dinner. Arguably one of the best restaurants in all of DC – and definitely #1 in Georgetown. Everything was so delicious that we had to order a three course meal. Must try: appetizer- Foie de Volaille; main- Confit de Canard (one of the best ever); dessert- can't
What a fabulous dinner. Service was absolutely wonderful. Maria made our night. Attentive, friendly, and fabulous in every way. The food was superb. We will come back. Highly recommended.
We went for lunch and came out with smiles on our faces. From the perfect onion soup to the light but still tasty duck confit, our entire experience met expectation and then some. We will be back!
Having walked by a number of times without going in, I couldn’t be more happy that I finally did. This is a true gem of a place. One of the best meals I’ve enjoyed in DC. Great classic french food, amazing service, and an authentic ambience that fully rounds out the experience. Steaks frites were s
I went yesterday night for the first time and it was very nice. I booked a table for 2 people at 9pm. I arrived a little bit early so they proposed me to wait at the wine bar. It was very cosy and classy and the service was top. They also have a good selection of wine. For diner I had the magret de
Amazing good & service. We ordered the leeks vinaigrette for appetizer and the poulet rĂ´ti for main course. For dessert we ordered the tarte au fromage. Everything was absolutely amazing.
