Went during the weekday, loved their falafel sandwich (get all the toppings!)! I mainly came to try our their fries as everyone talks about how good it is and it did not disappoint!! Service was quick too! So sad they are closing but the food was so delicious I'm hoping to go back before they shut d
When I was in town and looking for sone quick lunch options and wanted to have veg thus when found this place. Got to see many accolades from different journals saying this is one of the best falafel place.. I took falafel sandwich and my friend took falafel bowl. The pita bread was soft , falafel w
Quirky spot with good falafels. I was looking for a light, refreshing meal on a Tuesday night. This place didn’t disappoint. The falafel bowl with everything was good. A bit pricey considering the size of the bowl, but quality over quantity. The fries were a bit meh. It comes with curry ketchup w

Had a great experience on our first trip to Amsterdam Falafelshop. The gentleman running the counter gave us a perfect run down how to build our falafel bowl... including smashing the balls. The end result was a cacophony of tastes. I had a 5 ball bowl. My wife went 3 ball. We both purchased a
Absolutely delicious food at a reasonable price! Great atmosphere (they were playing old school funk and soul) and welcoming staff. All of the toppings were fresh and it was super easy to build a healthy, filling, and entirely vegan sandwich :)
Safe ordering. Delicious menu. ORDER the fries and mayo! Dr Brown sodas, La Croix waters. Love the peach mango kombucha. Seating outside is comfortable and spacious. 3 regular tables and 1 bistro table inside.
I am pretty sure that I embarrassed my kids when I filled my falafel bowl to the rim. We drove 2+ hours to DC, so I can get my falafel craving fixed. I couldn’t help myself and wanted everything over my falafels. They were cooked right after you place the order. It is crunchy outside, moist and t
A bite to remember! I’m a big fan of falafel, and here was just great! Price is reasonable and u have many great choice to add to your falafel with no extra charge. Also it’s located in one of the coolest street of dc occupied with bars, cafe n restaurants.
Interesting. It was good. I was really hungry too. First time getting water from a box. Cool. This area reminds me of The Village in Manhattan.
So delicious, all the fried food! Love how you can customize your toppings. Get the small portions as they are still enormous!
Amsterdam falafel is one of my go to places for food in Adam's Morgan. The staff is generally nice and helpful, the options for customization are vast, and the food is fresh and hot. The prices are fair and service is quick. Definitely a favorite spot for me and my vegetarian fiance.
The best felafel I’ve ever had anywhere. The felafel was a perfect consistency, and the build your own toppings just blew my mind. So much variety and flavor. If I find myself anywhere near one of these in the future, I will be eating it.
The food was tasty and the customer service was spectacular. It was my first time eating here and I was impressed. We will return!
Still open during the pandemic and serving up delicious falafels and fries with great winter drinks to boot! Social distancing friendly ordering and seating included.
Not my favorite falafel ever, but still very tasty. I got a small falafel bowl with hummus, tahini, pickled cauliflower, and cucumber salad with a pita on the side. The staff is very kind and helpful.
I came back for some more…tasty as always! Yum…yummy 😋
