Between going to The Capitol and going to the Holocaust museum it was lunch time . On the way to the metro train we stop at Sweetgreen Capitol Hill.
There is a wide selection of salads. My brother and I had the Fish Taco Salad. Comes with Roasted steelhead, avocado, shredded cabbage, cilantro, tortilla chips, warm quinoa, arugula, sweetgreen hot sauce, lime cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette.
Nice size salad with very good veggies and a nice tasting piece of Salmon. Good service and a very clean establishment.

Honestly the best meal experience of our DC trip. Fresh, healthy and really great flavors. I suggest the Crispy Rice Bowl-yum! Jannaye was incredibly genuine and friendly.

Terrific options for healthy, delicious salads. Prepared from an ingredients bar while you watch. Music was loud so we ate at the outside tables and watched people stroll.

I made a day trip to DC while staying in Baltimore for work. The advertisement made it clear what I could expect. Though small inside, it was quaint. It even had outside, sidewalk seating. The line was slow but the wait worth it. I ordered the seasonal peach and goat cheese kale salad with a side of roasted sweet potatoes. It was very enjoyable! One thing I appreciated most was when they asked how I wanted it dressed - light, medium, or heavy. It was 20ish for a fresh salad, the potatoes, and water - about what I expected for DC. Fresh is good and worth the price. Hopefully they’ll expand South!

Best sweet greens in DC. The amount of care they put when they make your salad is outstanding. Always clean and excellent service. All the employees always greet you with a smile and they are very attentive. My to go sweet greens in the whole area.

Highly recommend the chicken pesto parm bowl, it’s filling and healthy. They have free wifi here, staff is nice. Plenty of indoor seating, and some outdoor seating as well.
