Mom's Homestyle Deli

Order the “Warwick’s Finest” chicken sandwich. I challenge you to find a better sandwich. Great seasoning, great bread, moist chicken, bacon, lots of cheese, grilled onions and BBQ sauce (I’d order the BBQ sauce on the side). Big rich sandwich so can easily split it for two. Next on my list... the new “Breakfast Bowl”. Two Eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and cheese all scrambled together for $5.00. Again... enough food to split. If you’re in a rush... phone in your order. This is country living. Where the truly wealthy have all the time in the world.

The food I did get was good but there weren’t many options and my first choice of the roast beef was more expensive then I’ve ever seen, their excuse was the prices were raised because of the pandemic but I’ve never seen anywhere else with roast beef prices that high. The Owner and the worker making my sandwich were nice enough but they weren’t wearing masks and they said they didn’t need to because of their “barrier” which doesn’t even reach above your chest, how is that allowed? Not to mention the place was very cluttered, had a bunch of stuff on top of the drink machines, filth caked onto and around the frier and the owner had open toed shoes which I know for a fact is a health code violation. This place has a lot of potential but the business will fail the way it is!

The deli is dirty and there is no selection. The owner working the counter was not wearing a mask and neither was the person making the sandwiches. Their was no meat on the sandwiches. I ordered two Italian combos one with oil and vinegar and one with out. They weren’t marked. When I asked which one had oil they had no idea, looked at the side of the sandwich and picked one. They were wrong. I will never go here again.

Worst deli I’ve ever been to. Said 15 minutes for order, waited over 25. Free chips come with lunch, too bad they were expired! Chicken cutlet sandwich was gross. Chicken was gray inside and tasted like it was made 2 weeks ago and then over cooked in the fryer. There are a lot of other options in Warwick.. this one I would stay away from.
