We googled this place and it had solid reviews. However the food did not match the reviews. So place is nice and big and has an outside section with some beautiful views. We ordered a sampler platter with smoked ribs and pulled pork. Kids ordered the burgers.

A bit disappointed to be honest. The service was good. The brisket was very dry, the pulled chicken had a weird flavor, the sauces were just vinegar variations, and the corn bread had the consistency of pound cake. Not sure if I'll try again.
I'm not sure what happened with the other reviews, the staff were very friendly and attentive, there was only 1 waitress and 1 bartender you could tell there is a staff shortage but that did not change the service we got!! First time to the Double S in Warwick. Have been to their other restaurant in Augusta before a few times. Was a big fan of their "diner" up on 23 for many years before the closed down..
