Pretty mediocre tacos. Equivalent to taco bell. Price wise, and taste wise. Clean and good tacos buts only hits the spot temporarily.

I went to California Taco Shop after a quick side gig. I was immediately drawn in to the colorful dining area. On the left was the counter to order.
I ended up ordering the nacho fries with shredded chicken. Which looked and sounded delicious. By the time I was able to eat it, about an hour and a half later, it was still slightly warm, and a tasty mess of melted cheese, chicken, and potato-ey goodness. Two spoonfuls of guacamole and sour cream stood atop the carbohydrate madness.
Of note was that some of the fries looked like they bonded to the styrofoam the food was placed in. That didn't look too appetizing.
The staff there were friendly and the food prepared in about 10-15 minutes.
No score on sustainability or Covid precaution safety measures.

My First time at this location, the food is ok 👍 and customer service is ok. The place need major renovation, customer service needs a lot of improvement same as the food .
I had a chicken 🐔 quesadilla, Not impressed with any things there.

Enjoyed some grilled chicken and charro crispy taco supremes. The charro was a mix of steak and chorizo and had good flavor and came with some sauces. The tacos were in the smaller side, but can't complain as they are inexpensive and the shells were nice. Tons of protein options for tacos as well as many other menu items to pick from. I walked in and ordered takeout and waited about 20 minutes so calling ahead may be your best bet. Parking is a bit weird and the shop is near a right turn only light. The staff were friendly and helpful and the interior was clean and had tables to sit at and eat--no table service.

It’s super disappointing when I pay extra money for a delivery service to deliver my food, and the restaurant can’t get anything on the order correct. Every single time I go here, the order is wrong when I get it. They also didn’t have it made until an hour after I ordered it. I would’ve liked to try to resolve it with them, but they won’t answer their phone even though they’re open for another hour. That happens often too. I’m done with this place. My advice, if you order from here, check all of your food before you leave. If you order it from delivery, it WILL be wrong. Count on it.

First Google review ever in my life. I understand that every restaurant is raising their prices due to inflation but they raised the whole menu $2 and now the burritos are way smaller then what they were prior to the prices being raised. Not the first time I’ve noticed this either.

OK soft tacos, great Jamaica though. I am originally from Mexico so I know how real tacos taste like. The small soft tacos here get a three stars from me. I had one of each meat and all of them were not great. The tortilla is made of corn which is a big plus. I put salsa to put a little bit of flavor. But, the salsa was not great either.
Another detail is that I waited inside the restaurant and the tacos were still a little bit cold. I also had an agua de Jamaica. That one was great!

Stopped this afternoon while in search of some traditional tacos and boy, they did not disappoint. Got 4 assorted tacos and they were fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Next time I'm in the area I will be back!
