Worst service I've had in recent memory. 35 minutes to get a server, much less a cocktail. Food was well cooked but heavy handed in spicing and totally unimaginative in plating. What does the Bass come with? Oh, nothing on the plate but a piece of fish. And my side, watery ziti served half way through the Bass, after two requests, about the same time the wine showed up. Lot of locals saying hi to chef, so thats the only reason they're in business, except it's a lovely location. It actually gets 5 stars for real estate reduced to two for performance.

The food was great as was the water vview. The waitress was professional and attentive. There is a parking lot which is nice since it is difficult to find street parking in Warren. Too bad the place is so hidden. Not easy to spot from the street.

Paul, Betsy, Holly, Rachel, Dion, Ellen, and entire staff do a great job. Food is original and cooked to order. My favorite restaurant. Always a pleasure to visit. Very cozy open dining. Keep up the good work.

First time I've ate here and it was a disaster. I've heard good things about this place, but either the chef was not having a good night or I ordered the wrong dish. The waitress was very nice and is the only reason this review is getting a 2 star. Anyway I started out the night splitting a Caesar salad with my girlfriend which was really good but that was better than my dinner. My dinner ended up being a overcooked salmon which I didn't see on the menu but it's what I was served. I should of took a picture because you could just see it was overdone not sure how the chef didn't notice even my girlfriend looked at it and said " That doesn't look so good". However, I tried a bite and knew it was a bad idea but thank God I had water to wash it down. Then I heard the chef yelling at one of his staff which was very rude because I'm trying to take my girlfriend on a date to a nice restaurant. After a few minutes the waitress came by and asked if everything was ok and I told her how bad the salmon was and she asked if I wanted her to talk to the chef about taking the salmon off the bill, but after the huge temper tantrum I just saw before I wasn't sure if he was going to start yelling again so I didn't make a big deal about it. The way he argued with the waitress before it seemed like he has to always be right so it wasn't worth ruining my date. My girlfriend had the sausage and tortellini which was good but you could tell the tortellini was bought and wasn't freshly made but at least her dish was editable. Only good thing was the sausage and tort was big enough to split so I could eat something other than bread. Then after we finished eating her dish she started pointing out how dirty it was not sure if they clean but there is a lot of dog hair and place could be mopped at the end of a busy night because it was filthy. It's a good thing this wasn't the first date with my girlfriend because I felt horrible bringing her here if you're looking for a good place check out revival right down the street. Food is much better in my opinion.

Great food, service not so much. It’s too bad because their seafood and variety of specials are always amazing. Definitely make a reservation if you want to eat there or your most likely not going to get seated. Not going to lie, I will still go there, that’s how good it is when you actually are accommodated.

I was disappointed to read the poor reviews because this is one of our favorite restaurants in Warren. The location doesn't get much better (we love that we can dock the boat right at the restaurant), the food is excellent, portions are huge, prices are fair, and they allow our dog on the patio. The one down side is the waitstaff can be unorganized. We always go late enough to miss the dinner rush and aren't in a hurry as the view is easy to enjoy so it never bothered us that much.

We've gone there about 4 times a year for the last several years. The food has been consistently fantastic and inventive. The wait staff includes some longstanding servers, and they're all super nice and very attentive. The menu is actually very large: about 20 different entrees, many of which can be prepared a couple of different ways, and then about 10 specials. We really go for the specials. When we have relatives visiting, we take them here because it pleases everybody and it's been 100% reliable. I think the comments by people who've had a lesser experience reflect busy Saturday nights, when they're definitely pressed. One cool thing no one else has mentioned: the kitchen is part of the dining room, so you can see the experts at work.

I would have to give this restaurant a mixed review. First and best of all, the food was excellent, very flavorful, had the Zippy Shrimp and then the Lobster, Shrimp and Scallop special. The second part of this review is about the service, despicable. We arrived for our reservation and were seated promptly. After about 10 minutes a waitress came and asked us if we wanted a cocktail. When she returned with out drinks, we ordered our appetizers. As stated earlier, I ordered the Zippy Shrimp and my husband ordered a half dozen oysters. About half an hour later we received my order, but not my husbands. When I was finished, we asked again about the oysters and were told they would be right out. A few minutes later, we cancelled the oysters. We had been there just about an hour at this point. We then received our salad and shortly later my dinner was delivered. Again, my husbands dinner was not. He received it about 5 minutes later. When done, the waitress finally came back as asked us if we were "all set" never asking if we would like desert. We were given the bill and the waitress disappeared, as she had been all evening. After about 5 minutes or so, we got up and found her behind the bar, where I believe she spent most of her time, paid the bill and left. Don't think we will be going back anytime soon.

My absolute favorite restaurant hands down! The staff is amazing, the food is beyond amazing and the atmosphere is so peaceful to me! It's such a treat for my husband and I when we go and celebrate all our engagements there! Can't wait to go again!

One hour after making reservation we arrived to be told we had no reservation. After stubborn argument we were given a table, only to be told we must eat quickly as to not upset the other "reservations". Rude service. We left. As did others who witnessed. Traffords, next door, welcomed us cheerfully without a reservation.

Always have a great experience at Tab-Vinos! Food and service is outstanding. Two of my favorites are the Panco Scrod and the Mud Pie!

The service was slow! The waitress took very long time to take our order and when she finally brought our dinners they were cold. I would have orders a dessert but the waitress took forever to return to the table.

Comfort by the sea. My father worked at this restaurant growing up. The stories he's told me are amazing and it is truly a place to check out if you're around. This is my all time favorite restaurant, not only because of the delicious food (clam cakes are the best and mud pie) and the ocean, but because of the memories this place holds. I'm from Franklin Massachusetts and this is my TOP PICK! <br/>Thanks, Carissa

Slow service and out of items. I used to love this place for it's fresh food and amazing setting by the water. After my last two visits, I can't get past the slow service and not available items. It took over thirty five minutes to get a Beefeater martini. Come on now, gin and ice!

This is one of my favorite all time restaurants. While you may wait and get snow service, the food is always fresh and simple. All is made to order. Try the mixed seafood dishes, grilled pizza, and the fabulous sautéed calamari. Good luck finding a better view or seafood.

Terrible service. Thank god that Traffords is next door

I've been here for an 1:45 , and I still haven't received my entree, it's not crowded at all, it is just incredibly inefficient service. Good food, terrible service.

Good resteraunt! Tav-vino has a wide selection of food on the menu, ranging from steaks to seafood. The waiters were a little unattentative, but the food was amazing! But beware, if you take your kids, there are limited options for them, implying that the resteraunt was not intended to be kid-friendly.
