Salvatore's

Salvatore's is a store front location in a strip mall. Easily seen from the road and there is plenty of signage. Moderate crowd for a Wed night. When seated at a bar area table we were given three separate menus. I get that restaurants want to update their menus without printing all new but 3 menus is silly. There was a bit of a wait for a server but when she arrived she was friendly. Pet peeve: raspberry tea is not iced tea. Don't offer iced tea and bring some fruit drink. We placed our orders and bread and Ceasars Salad arrived quickly. The salad was a plate of lettuce with dressing in a cup. The garlic rolls and pizza bread was fresh but the pizza bread was cold. The entrees arrived promptly. Large portions. Hot. Very flavorful. We were happy with both and took home lunch sized leftovers. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Yummy! First time here, I'm soooo sad it's a 50 minute drive. Nice, clean interior. Friendly waitress. A huge menu, it was very hard to decide. I opted to get the lunch entree special which was a shrimp with lemon garlic butter sauce spinach and tomatoes on linguine. It was delicious. I would like to try and emulate making it at home. I guess if I have to have a complaint it would be that I would have wanted a couple of more shrimp. It came with a salad and a basket of rolls. Two plain rolls and three pieces of a tomato topped bread. If that's an example of the sauce that they use on their pizza/pasta I will definitely drive back and get a pizza. Too hot today to take one home. It looks like they have outdoor seating undercover, easy to find in a shopping plaza. I would definitely and highly recommend this restaurant.

Friendly service and really great food. I ordered a penne a la vodka not expecting much, but it was one of the best pastas I've ever had. They really add in a lot of ingredients to the pasta that make it so much more than just a basic penne a la vodka that you'd get most places. Pasta came with a salad as well, which is nice to include with the meal.
