The broccoli pie was delicious. Really nice cheddar flavour through the sauce and the cheese layer on top was thin and crispy (not oily like they can be). The chunks of broccoli still had a nice firmness to them. The only component that could have been better was the pastry which was a little soft and undercooked in the bottom, but it still held together well.

Vietnamese homemade braised beef pie is amazing! Please, you have to try this. We bought the last 5 beef pies straight off the shelf. Hardworking people. Service is fast and efficient because it gets busy at peak hours. They will take your order while also preparing coffee or food for another customer, so no time for small chats or smiles. They deserve 5 stars for their delicious food. Visited this bakery again and again during our stay in Walpole. Also, we brought a pie up Mount Lindsey. YUMS.

If you're ever in Walpole, give this place a WIDE birth. They refused to give me hot water for a cup of tea after we'd bought breakfast. For the record, the egg and bacon roll was choc full of mayonnaise, not usually what you get in that type of roll but whatever. I went to the BP Service Station right next door and was given some hot water in my mug with a friendly smile. I won't say they're racist at the bakery but, you know, they are. No wonder the butcher wants to get out of their way..... Just don't go there!
