Review El Maguey Restaurant - Walkertown

Very nice clean restaurant. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Food was good and they had good selection of items on menu.

We come here maybe once or twice a month. Everything about this place is fast but not rushed and the food is delicious and as ordered. Plenty of seating and all staff seem to be attentive to guests. Even if it’s not “their” table. The restaurant and restrooms are always clean and the portion sizes are larger than expected. We haven’t sat outside - yet, we will try that soon. The tropical winearita is a must try.

Usually love eating here. Not today, when my fish tacos were brought out the fish wasn't cooked properly. When I expressed I couldn't eat this the waitress acted as if I was the problem. I never complain. I've worked in food service so I really try to be understanding.

The El Maguey Experience (Dine-in Edition). I am all about supporting local businesses, especially when it is tasty. So I arrived at El Maguey during lunch hours, and the host greeted me at the door. Before sitting down at the table, I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. The bathroom did appear clean and smelled fresh. Once at the table, someone brought me a basket of chips and salsa. I felt the chips tasted hot and fresh, and the salsa was good. I ordered the Speedy Gonzales and liked how fast my plate came out and how good my meal was. I would go back to El Maguey because the restaurant itself appeared clean, the food and service were good.

We come here just about every week for dinner, mostly on Tuesday’s. The staff is always friendly and very attentive to all customers who walk through the door. The service is very fast and never a long wait for anything. The place is always clean and the food is always excellent. The tropical margarita is always a plus as well.

So glad we stopped by and ate here! The ambiance was great. Our waiter was attentive, and we also got service from the manager! They were both great, and they made sure our drinks were never empty, and everything was to our liking. Great food and great customer service. We will come back again!

Always has amazing food. The service is always either great or bad. They do have a nice clean and authentic facility. There is also covered outdoor seating on nice days

I've eaten here half a dozen times. Food and service has always been good. Tonight meal a little less than perfect. I ordered the street tacos and the chicken was over cooked and the soft shells were dry. This was one out of many times. I will be back, sometimes things in the kitchen go sideways.
