Review Espresso 101 - Waldport

Let me tell you, as a Floridian visiting the Oregon Coast we were totally perplexed at how these little corner drive through coffee houses stayed in business, but we quickly noticed that they were busy from sun up through late afternoon. So we decided to roll into a few while we were here and Expresso 101 won our hearts (and taste buds) with their Mexican Spiced Coffee - complete with a chocolate covered coffee bean of course! Located right off of Hwy 101 in lovely Waldport it’s convenient and the girls there are just delightful and friendly. Will be back!

When it's good, it's my favorite coffee out there, but if you do not specify "hot shots" with a cold espresso drink, they give you this really bitter cold brew espresso. I keep coming back because when made with hot shots, it's amaaaaazing. But it's getting frustrating if I ever forget to specify, they just assume cold brew shots without checking in. And it's not a suddle difference. When they make it with cold brew, I don't even want to drink it because it's just so bad.

Fantastic coffee! We are admitted coffee snobs, and we went here everyday while on our vacation. Fast service, friendly staff, and most of all GREAT COFFEE! My partner's coffee is fairly complicated, and specific and it was correctly made each time. I am a black Americano drinker. Mine was delicious! Bypass the chain coffee shops and stop here instead. You will not be disappointed and you are supporting small business.

Had a frozen Cold brew with Ghirardelli white chocolate and whipped cream. It was pretty nice on a warm Sunday morning! I imagine all of their drinks are awesome 😎 And the barista was so warm, charming and sincerely friendly. A pleasant surprise from the Eugene where so many service workers are anything but.

The first time I went through here, the cinnamon mocha was wonderful, best ones I've ever had and the service was exemplary. 5 stars. The second time I went through, they newer server forgot the cinnamon, didn't ask if I wanted a drink holder, a straw, or a bean. I wound up dumping half of it at the nearest Starbucks. Although Starbucks didn't do as well as the first lady that made me that specialy tasty Cinnamon Mocha.

First time at this coffee shop as we were traveling. Made my coffee, with lots of special requests PERFECT. Will be a stop every time we are in town

Great drive-through out walk-up coffee stop! My iced mocha was excellent. They can make any of their hot or iced drinks DAIRY FREE with soy, almond, hemp, or coconut milk. Friendly service, too!

Fabulous coffee and super pleasant service. We stopped by all 3 days we were here on vacation — enjoyed our lattes and mochas, as well as the friendly conversation.

Delicious coffee, lattes, and espresso drinks. Drove up and ordered, had our coffees in a few minutes. Yummy caramel machiato to go.

We have traveled up and down the Oregon Coast for years. One thing that each trip has in common: find the best cup of coffee available. We have been to too many coffee shops with bad service and/or bad coffee. Just the day before visiting Espresso 101 we had purchased a coffee with a shot and a Mexican mocha at a competing drive-thru in Yachats. Both were so bad we threw them away. It was a different story at Espresso 101. It started off good with the friendly barista's and only got better when we tasted the coffee. My wife had a 12 oz coffee with 2 shots of espresso, and I had a 12 oz quad shot cappuccino. Both were wonderful, as good as any we have had anywhere. If we could give this shop 6 stars, we would.

Delicious coffee, very fast service, and friendly baristas! One thing we appreciated was she handed out each coffee right after it was finished so they wouldn’t just sit there melting. Also, we had two coffees probably within 2 minutes of ordering. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

On our way through town on vacation, we stopped at the drive-through on a friends recommendation. We were not disappointed. A very friendly young lady came out to our car, which was second in line, and helped us with our order. I’ve been drinking espresso all over the country, and I’ve got to tell you that their French Toast Latte is something truly special. I enjoyed every last drop. They were able to accommodate non-dairy and decaf requests without batting an eye lash. Their pastries were very tasty as well. If you’re in the area and want good coffee coupled with great service, check this place out.

Great scones, good coffee and friendly staff.

It is a little hard to get into. Only room for a car or two off the road but they try to push people thru quickly. The coffee and the ladies there were great. Stop in next time you are in the area.

Always friendly and good drip coffee. Cheaper than a lot of other local spots. You can park and walk up to the window instead of stopping in the highway or on the sidewalk. Truck/trailer parking across the street at the pharmacy.

All I know about this place is about the people that own it who are friends of my niece. The code they live by is true American. I wish them well and if I am ever in the area I will stop for coffee.
