Park Diner

Excellent ‘50s style retro diner plastered with memorabilia and kitsch with a really friendly staff, good (if basic) food, and a fun vibe. You really get that nostalgic service that you hope for, the staff goes out of their way to be personable and helpful, even when they’re busy. This is one of the best places in town for kids—I’ve been coming here for probably close to two decades now, so I can tell you that I still remember getting a kid’s meal when my grandpa came to visit from California and took our family out—they come in super cool paperboard antique cars (era appropriate, of course). I’d also recommend giving the milkshakes a try, they’re top class.

My grandchildren and I go to the Park diner on special days. This time I took my grandson out for brunch and the food was great although very busy on a Sunday we recieved very quick service. Our server (who's name I'm ashamed to say I can't remember ) was WONDERFUL. I'm always glad we chose to eat at the park diner. I had the pancakes and bacon with over easy eggs all perfectly prepared. My grandson had an omelet with the special hashbrowns which are delicious
