Zippy's Restaurant

Walked into the restaurant. My temperature was taken after my personal info was written down by one of the male greeters. I was then escorted to my table. Then the waitress gave me the menu. I was asked what i wanted to have for a drink. After realizing that they only serve Pepsi (personally, i prefer Coke), i ordered MUG root beer. When she got back to my table with my drink, she then asked me for my order, so i told her Spaghetti with garlic bread, along with parmesan cheese. After approximately 10 minutes, my order arrived on the table. After eating, the waitress asked me if i wanted a refill for my drink. How can i resist to that? My lunch along with the drinks totaled for about $15. I then tipped the waitress $5. Plus, i got me a plastic straw. Yay.

Dine out only due to Covid however prior co Covid great place to drop in for a snack or a full meal. Plenty of space inside and outside. Staff is fast courteous and helpful. No matter what I ordered it was good. One menu Item I always enjoyed was the Orange Blast. An orange juice item that is way better tasting than any soda!

Can’t go Wrong when you’re really hungry and looking for Great tasting Local favorite dishes. What I also Love is their Wide Variety of dishes they have on their menu,their Lilikoi Juice,ZIP Pack,their Ox tail soup is a Home Run to delicious World!,Nice Family environment and Clean restrooms,Zippy’s Waipahu is simply and honestly a Great all around restaurant,that’s why Locals and Strangers Love every one of visit their Visits! Me in particular,I’m sold on Zippy’s!! Another Local Winner Restaurant!!!

This review is only for covid-19 times. The service was very slow even though I was the only one in there. The stuff was friendly enough with masks on. They got four stars because the place was clean and the staff were wearing protective gears. I even saw someone come by to spray disinfectant. They got one star less because of the slow service.

My family came in for breakfast and was greeted by Amber who had her hands full multitasking as it was busy. She smiled and seated us just as soon as she could. It amazed me how calm cool and collected she was in the environment she was working yet she gave everyone the time they deserved and still did an outstanding job keeping the resteraunt going smoothly. Her personality, joyful attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction was unmatched. Just her service alone made me want to enjoy more days at this establishment. We live in Oregon and a have a resteraunt as well. Amber is exactly the person i would love to employ as i have no doubts shewould benefit my place of business tremendously.

Oxtail soup was ono. Good portion and flavor. It was unexpectedly light for me. I didn't feel over stuffed after finishing the bowl and all the soup. I'm interested in trying the turkey neck one next time. Service was pretty quick also. However, there didn't seem to be that many customers when I visited (Wednesday 3pm).
