K's Bento-ya

Stopped on our way to the North Shore this morning. Arrived at 7:45 AM and there were already lots of people going in and out. They only had 1 bento ($8) option to choose from, as well as a roll option ($7).we all really enjoyed the bento! So so good. Reminded me of my childhood in Japan. Simple, yet created with love.

I remember eating K’s bentos long ago when my son played baseball. I remember it to be filling and so ono! So when I wanted to try it again and turn my doctor and his staff on to some good eats I called in an order. When I went to pick up my order the man was waiting for me. I was a little late due to traffic. I asked him what time do they normally close and he said after I leave because they were officially sold out for the day. He added in some other goodies for me and he was so kind and generous! Thank you for making my experience there a good one! And the bentos were just like how I remembered them..FILLING and most of all ONO! There is parking right in front and it’s cash only.

I've been coming to K's Bento for years. I used to come with my grandparents. They picked out a bento for me when I was going to school excursion or field trips. Now I do the same with my son's on thier field trips for school, sports, and beach outings with friends etc. You got 2 choices of bento and occasionally if they didn't run out, Cone sushi or the regular nori sushi. Can go wrong, a simple drop in and go stop for a fast "ono" bento (lunchbox).

We had a field trip to the National College Convention at Hawaii Convention Center, and we had to bring home lunch, and the first thing that came into my head was BENTO! So I was like who sells the best bento but with chicken and Opens right now (4:30) and I was like K's Bento-Ya. I like their bento with the 3 pieces of chicken, Sushi, rice and sausage. It Really GOOD. I recommend this because their bentos are really delicious.
