This was a wonderful place to eat. It has the best tacos! The chef is very detailed, he loves what he does and it shows in his food.He explained everything in detail so I knew exactly what I was getting and he was spot-on. The staff was friendly and the environment was relaxing.Everything was cooked perfectly, the seasoning had just the right amount of heat and everything was fresh.The combination of the vegetables were fresh and unique giving a new flare to the "taco".
This is a hidden gem! Best tacos on Maui. Tacos creative, not traditional, to call it fusion would be a disservice. Maui style taco at Taco Style Maui. Great service! Family ran. Quality food! Fish and shrimp tacos amazing. Don’t forget to try their cold drinks, forget what it’s called. Big area to lounge. Perfect place for a family or lunch out of the office.
Great food, very friendly and helpful staff, clean, neat, and oh-so flavorful and authentic. Something different every day; the effort they put into pleasing you is really refreshing. Don't be put off by the location or the picnic tables; it's great food....possibly the very best Mexican on Maui.
Great tacos! Their homemade chili water was a great addition to add a little more heat. The peanut butter shrimp taco special was especially delicious 👍🏼 Cash Only!
Highly recommended. This was the first place we visited on our trip to Maui, and it was so good we ate here again on our way out. The couple who run the place are charming and the tacos are works of art. Best tacos on the island!
Doesn’t seem like much from the outside but the food is unbelievably good. The staff are very kind and sweet and you can tell the chef puts a lot of love and care into his food. If you get a chance you MUST go!!

This place was amazing. I'm so happy we wandered off the beaten path to check it out. Its owned by a husband and wife team, and each brings something unique to the food from their different cultures. Their range of spices make Taco Style Muai a rare success in "fusion" cuisine. I also loved the patio area with its gorgeous tree, ample tables, and shelters from the mid-day heat. We will be back next time we visit the island (hopefully soon).

Absolutely amazing food and experience! It's a hole it the spot so look for the sign on the street and follow the path back into a large opening with tables and the cooking area. First I would like to say I have fairly high standards for tacos coming from a hub of Hispanic foods and world famous tacos. This is on par if not better. The owner/chef is truly kind and passionate about his food and the ingredients he uses. He makes a new sauce daily, from scratch at that. We had the pineapple, guava with basil along with his other of the day "dragon sauce" which was an amazing homemade blend of peppers without any sugar added so it really gave it a pop. During our meal he came out and spoke to us, asked us what we liked and what could be done better. Honestly I think this guy has hit the target right on point, amazing tacos with garden fresh ingredients along side his outstanding skills in the kitchen make for a serious win all around. The fact he hand makes new sauces daily just adds to the already winning equation. His passion and love for what he does is apparent in his personality as well as his food. This is a must for anyone visiting or anyone local, it was on a drive back from our hike across the island. About 30 minutes from where we are staying and we will 100% be going back tomorrow. Worth the drive and then some!
