Love this diner. It's our ritual stop after visiting Calverton Cemetery. Food is great and fresh and the service is top notch. Good bakery items at the counter too!

I am giving the diner five stars. The first time I went which was December 9 was amazing. December 10, the eggs were awesome and the hash and potatos not so good. The hot Coca was amazing. The Potatos are spicey and the Hash has Potatos in it. Hash is also spicey. I think a survey is needed to see how many people love the Potatos and the hash. You do not like Potatos that are spicey the potatos and hash are not for you. Once you take a bite of the potatos you will notice how spicey it is and it will not be something you will forget. However, if you do like spicey order the Potatos and Hash. The waffles were truly amazing looking forward to the pancakes and french toast on future visits. Overall am pleased with the Greek Island Diner.

A classic Long Island diner. I'm always ordering breakfast, so I can't speak too much on the lunch/dinner entrees, they do have an insane coleslaw I've tried. I've been eating here every week for the past few months, it's scrumptious. Get an omelet, homefries, buttered white toast, and a cup of coffee or tea and live a little!

Fantastic food, especially if you need to eat gluten-free. I love how they serve you out the window still, even though the pandemic is over. Saves you time when you can just park at the curb and run up. I highly recommend their avgolemono soup - delicious! And their Greek salad wraps are massive! Good fries too.

As a Turkish and Aegean (from Izmir) I can say that the best Sarma (stuffed grape leaves) I have eaten in the US. I got a cold. Just minutes ago, I took out a cup of the chicken soup which was also great. The Lady (I think the owner) is so polite and helpful. I am so glad to find a place like my home.

They don't take reservations, but they still worked with me to accommodate our large party ahead of time. Such lovely people, and the food was enjoyed by all. It's a step up from a regular diner for sure. Recommended!
