Nothing better, One of my favorite restaurants on the Island. The cocktails are great, the service is amazing and the food is exquisite. I cannot say enough good about La Plage. 5 stars ⭐️ all the way!

Ate dinner here last Saturday. Unbelievable. It was a perfect summer night to dine outside. We haven been coming here for many years and this past meal stands out as the best yet. I had the Strped Bass special and it was cooked to perfection. Thank you to all who made our dinner perfect.

Best secret on Long Island is La Plage. The food, the staff and the atmosphere is superb. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The restaurant is small and cozy, in between the wet lands and marshes and the Long Island Sound; sitting on a sliver of sand. But that is the back drop for the star of the show; the food. It's worth the trip, whether it's a hot summer's day or a cold winter's night, La Plage food is hit's your gastronomical spot perfectly.

Excellent dinner there last night with attentive service by everyone. Staff was very knowledgeable. Pretty table facing the water, caught a little of the sunset and enjoyed a little romantic candlelight with our amazing Vermont maple cheesecake. All around great evening. La Plage is truly a magical place. A culinary sensory overload of the most amazing kind. I can’t wait to visit again.

Love LaPlage! The seafood dishes are always fresh and creative. Love the homemade raviolis. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. A great place to brings friends. Not easy to find upscale food anymore in the area. Thanks Wayne for keeping up the standard!

This is a destination we go out of our way to work in to any travel we make to the north fork. Been here for lunch, for dinner, it never disappoints! I am in food service for over 30 years. This is the way to enjoy a meal. Very creative, very professional, and casual at the same time. Love it!!

We celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday, May 13th. The meal was fantastic and the service equally so. Every table taken. They were very accommodating as part of our party was a slight bit late. We cannot wait to go back. Especially when the weather is better so we can enjoy the beach before dinner. We happened to go on a night when a NorEaster hit. Highly recommend.

A very special place to me. Beach is rocky and water is warm, but it is peaceful and relaxing. Love the restaurant and your family will do too!

Great little spot off the beaten path. 45 mins away from where we live, yet we find ourselves enjoying an amazing meal there more often then the restaurants close by. I always recommend it to others and I always start with the Beef Carpaccio!

The food was good and my favorite was the duck leg confit. The wine selection leaves much to be desired felt some of the staff were rude except our server. The space is small and a bit chaotic. Nevertheless, I'm sure this restaurant is one of the best choices around the area.

Sat outdoors and got the three course meal. Very impressed with the quality of the main course and the dessert! Half of the oysters were a little small, but I thought they were delicious enough that it didn't matter. It was a good deal, I definitely would recommend/go again.

A nice sea front restaurant with a homely vibe. Small menu but the quality is top-notch. Friendly staff with great service. The pacing of the meal was on point. Wine selection is good with many selections from the local North Fork wineries.

I am traveling in Long Island for the weekend and stopped into La Plage for dinner on the recommendation of some local folks who love it. It did not disappoint. I was treated wonderfully throughout my time there (starting with the phone call to see if they could accommodate me without a reservation on a Saturday night!). I sat at the bar and was able to talk to two employees about the food. I ordered what they said they loved (the sweet corn chowder with crabmeat, the seared Banzino with Clams for dinner, and a Blueberry Crumble w/ homemade ice cream for dessert) and the meal was fantastic. I felt like a regular after 5 minutes and even got a tip on where to watch the sunrise this morning-Smith Point County Park on the other side of the Island! If you are near Wading River, don't sleep on La Plage. Thanks for the hospitality, the great food, and for making me feel at home after a long day of traveling.

A very quaint French Restaurant on the water. In the photos are the following: French 75 martini, Broiled fluke over fried rice, Duck confit with truffle risotto and finished our meal with sticky toffee pudding with Pecan praline ice cream.

Great place near the sound. We had the price fixe menu for $35.00. I had the duck confiet and my wife had the chicken breast. We also shared clams on the half shell and oysters. All delicious. We also had the chocolate cake and vanilla cakes for dessert. Well worth the price.

May I give this place 10 stars please?! The service was excellent (Wade was an excellent waiter, gave me recommendations and suggestions) and the food was just as good. My wife and I ordered the artisanal cheese plate and it was delicious. My entree was the bronzino, Perfectly cooked! I loved the crispy skin on it and the little neck clams were delectable as well. My wife ordered the Atlantic salmon (not pictured) and was just as delicious. Me being a local, I am so happy that there is such a high caliber restaurant down the road from my house. Bravo to the management, cooks, the servers and the whole team!

My boyfriend and I came here last night for my 24th birthday and it was truly the best meal we’ve ever had. I noticed this place a few months back when we were driving through the area and knew I wanted to come here since; needless to say, it lived up to my expectations! I would come back for the mussels and the view alone. Everything was reasonably priced and perfectly cooked. Will definitely be coming back soon.

We had a delicious meal at La Plage. Andrew our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about not only the food but all of the cocktail options. I got the cocnut margarita which was perfect!! We got the cheese platter and the lobster ravioli which were both amazing. Pictured here is the rigatoni with shrimp (they did not skimp on the shrimp lol) and my husband got the short rib which fell apart it was so tender. The atmosphere is upscale beachy and romantic but you can dress as casual as you like. I would definitely come here again.

Really really wonderful restaurant. From the views and setting on wading river beach - to the cottage vibe and casual atmosphere, it just knocks it out of the park the combination of casual and show stopping food. The menu is superb - literally so good that it hasn’t really changed in 15 years, but that is not a knock! Get the soup (any!) get the cheese plate or pork buns, but the entrees are where la place separates from the pack. There are 8 entrees - I have had ever single one. You can not go wrong. If it’s cold weather - duck leg confit with table side mushroom spooned out on your plate over a chive risotto??!? Better than it evened sounds if that’s possible. Warm weather : Fluke with Hawaiian crab fried rice and shellfish sauce - I fell off my chair. It’s that good . And they “almost” always have a poached lobster special with risotto which is out of this world. All of this served with hot rolls and butter with fresh chives. Next to the beach - right there. We go for dinner and take our kids to the beach swings after, always the best night of the week

Small, low-ceiling, cozy restaurant in beautiful setting across from a Sound beach. Parking is tricky. Food is reliably delicious. Service is friendly, professional but a little spotty. We were next to the door to the covered porch and it was slamming and banging the entire night as waitstaff hustled in and out. That was very unpleasant and added to the din, making it very hard to hear.

This was our first time here after a friend told us to check it out. I live local and have never been before. We went on Monday which was bring your own bottle night, they provided a chiller and opened the bottle. We made a reservation and the hostess offered us multiple tables, thank you!! We had the buratta app, lobster special, and filet mignon. The buratta was delish, the filet was so tender and flavorful, the lobster special orzo and the claws were delish but the tail was a little chewy/fishy. Overall a great visit. We will definitely come back for anniversary or other large occasions.

La Plage is a first rate dining experience. We have dined there several times and the location, food selection/preparation/presentation and service have been unerringly excellent. The Osso Buco is one of the two best braised shank preparations I’ve ever had. Please see the photos for our latest experience.

La Plage was amazing from every aspect. We were greeted with a smile immediately as we walked in and shown to our table. The atmosphere was warm and very comfortable. Our service was top notch and our food was out of this world. For appetizer we ordered the beef capacio, oysters and little necks on the half shell. We ordered the Duck confit and Oso Bucco for our entres. One word...outstanding. Kudos to the entire staff at La Plage. It has easily become our new favorite restaurant.

So nice, brings some needed food diversity to wading river. The maple scallops with sweet corn puree and kale was fantastic and the chocolate banana bread pudding was something I never thought of.
