Ordered an 8pc mix with fries and a small macaroni and cheese. The chicken was ok, a bit salty. The fries were very good, could of been cooked a bit longer. We didn't likenthe mac n cheese.

We don't drive to Bellmead often but wanted some real good fried chicken and decided to give it a try. We ordered a family meal and a side of fish. It was good. The fish was a big piece. Served fresh and hot. Apple turnover was delicious. They are open till 9 so it helps when you work late and other places close early.

Great fried chicken & fish. They were out of fish when we visited. They need to assure orders are 100% complete before providing to waiting customers. They neglected to include fried okra and we didn't know until we had driven across town. A customer really shouldn't have to check each item received before leaving a restaurant.

I ordered a standard 6 PC chicken tender
Thinking it was like back in the city.
Nah my boy. These are tenders so big and juicy and succulent that I wondered if it was the best boneless chicken breast made into a tender
I ate 5 and called it quits
Let alone the crinkle cut fries fries golden brown and the super fresh and tasty white peppered gravy.
I didn't make it to the roll that it came with.

My lady cooks everything from scratch and doesn't like eating out. We had to spend the day in the Bellmead area though and needed to eat. The restaurant wasn't much to look at and there's no inside dining. The food though was amazing and my lady told me to give 5 stars! Everything was fresh, homemade, and at least as good as she makes. 😋

Jim's is a go-to of mine when it comes to chicken or catfish. I especially love the tenders. I swear they make each one out of a whole chicken breast! I can barely finish a 4 piece with fries. I highly recommend them.
