Great take out, ready when I got there, not too expensive , $52 for enough to feed 5people( the last time I got takeout was in DC. The same order was almost $90). BTW the guys are great

Came to eat here on my way to work. To my surprise, mom and pops were in the back kitchen making the original food. So I had a great treat here! Full of flavor, amazing service by their son. And had a good conversation with him as well. If I lived here, this will be my spot for Chinese food!!!!!

Nothing in VA beach can beat them. I grew up on Chinese food & this is exactly like mom's home cooking. The food is so fresh & yummy. Packed with meat & flavor. I will drive out of my way for their food. Worth the wait, they get busy. The whole family is so nice & really hard working. They have never disappointed us, they never have an "off chef" day where 1 day didn't taste "like last time." Seems to be better with every bite.

A great mom and pop shop. Made with care and not a cookie cutter take out Chinese takeout. My Sweet and Sour Chicken appeared to be hand breaded chicken.

Hells yeah! As a native east coaster who was stationed on the west coast for 6 years… it was fantastic to have proper east coast Chinese food again! (West coast doesn’t hit it right) Foon’s however didn’t disappoint as I tried tried half a dozen before hittin these guys up. Got the classics and they were just what I was lookin for… will be my new go to regular joint until I get stationed somewhere else

Yes Foon!! I’ve been disappointed trying to find the right Chinese food place but last night I was a happy girl. The shrimp fried rice tasted and looked good, sesame chicken was delicious and the won ton soup was delicate and tasty. I was happy throughout the entire experience and woke up happy knowing my money was well spent. Thank you.

Everyone that works here is super kind. The food is solid and seems to have gotten better over the past 5 years. It has been my favorite Chinese place in Chicks Beach for 5 years. Highly recommend!

This is the legitimately best Chinese food I have ever eaten. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken and it was absolutely fantastic. It was actually very large chunks of great tasting chicken, not lumps of breading with some chicken inside. The broccoli that came with it was very obviously fresh, the fried rice was great tasting, and all the food I ordered was the best Chinese I have ever had. The service was fantastic and the food was ready in a matter of minutes, fresh. Sometimes with quick food you end up paying for it in taste or quality, but not at all here. Also very reasonable prices, and large portions. I could not eat a whole combo, even if it tasted delicious. >>If you are considering eating at any Chinese place, or eating out at all, you should seriously eat at Foon's. It's great!

Best Chinese food in Virginia Beach. The owners are really nice. They remember me when I come in, even if it's been a while. I always go there to get egg drop soup when I'm not feeling well. The cooks have no problem making something extra spicy when you ask for it.
