This Old House - Virginia Beach - Photo album

A hidden gem! Immediately greeted and seated upon walking in! Small and quiet venue, soft music playing, nice atmosphere for a little sushi house! They had a good amount of rolls to choose from and the service was great! It was the best sushi I had ever had, but it was fresh and delicious!
One of the BEST sushi places I've ever been to and I eat sushi weekly. 2 of us shared 4 special rolls. The Black Widow, Sushi Popper, Crab cake G2G, and one other I can't remember the name of. They were all delicious. Everything was so fresh. The miso soup was rich and flavorful, the salad dressing
The best sushi in Virginia Beach! Here you are going to find rolls that you literally won’t find anywhere else. He doesn’t necessarily follow any sushi style I am familiar with he just does what he think will taste good, and that is why it is amazing. Whenever I am in Virginia going here is a must.
Sushi was hands down some of the best sushi we have had. The service was amazing and extremely helpful. The chef is willing to customize orders and is so sweet!
This place has the most creative sushi that I have ever run into. Lee can take your order when sitting at the bar and will make your sushi any way that you like it. This restaurant is all about good service and making their customers feel comfortable and happy. Lee took great pains to be sure that m
I have been driving past this restaurant for a couple of years before I realized it was there. I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. Some of the best sushi I have had in the area. The rolls are original, large and delicious. The staff may have been even better than the food, friendly and at
We came here out of a recommendation from a local since we are not from the area and I can honestly say this is the best sushi I’ve had so far in my life. The restaurant feels homie and has the traditional table/bar where the Sushi Chef Lee makes his delicious sushi in front of you. Everyone was ver
I've been coming here since I was still in a car seat, and have been coming back ever since. The quality of Lee's food hasn't changed since the 90s/2000s, and the atmosphere always feels like coming back home after a long trip away. If you have food sensitivities (like my mom does), they can make ac
Family owned restaurant with fantastic rolls that I can only describe as the big Mac of sushi. Top notch quality and the owner goes and picks up fick before lunch and shuts down to go pick more up before dinner rush. The freshest you can find
This old house is the absolute best “hole in the wall” sushi place in all of VA. Do yourself a favor and stop in, Mr Lee is an absolute boss in his restaurant and will take care of you and get you whatever you want to eat. Thanks so much Mr Lee!
Went here tonight with 3 other people. this was hands down the best sushi I have ever had and probably one of the best dining experiences I've ever had too. the environment was so calm and relaxing, all the staff was super friendly and helpful. the chef (who I believe might be the owner) set up a ta
There are rumors Mr. Lee might be retiring soon. I would HIGHLY suggest you get your “This Old House” fix early and often. I’ll be so sad when I can’t visit Virginia and eat at my all time favorite sushi spot. You will be missed Mr. Lee!!!!
The owner is so hospitable, funny, and kind that you will always feel welcomed. He tries to get you to tell him what you like and he'll recommend the best roll for your tastes and I admire his passion for getting people to try new things. The rolls aren't always the cleanest in presentation but he
THE BEST SUSHI RESTAURANT HANDS DOWN. Mr. Lee and his daughter Maggie are two of the nicest people. Sushi is always amazing, Mr. Lee creates customized rolls depending on what you like. Maggie is always super friendly and helpful.
2/11/23 went for a birthday dinner. Monster good food. Jalapeno popper sushi was my wife's favorite of the meal. Had enough leftovers for a second meal.
Friendly chef, awesome sushi! A bit pricey, but totally worth every penny. Great variations on the classics. The sushi poppers were excellent. They got ate so fast, didnt have time to take a picture of them!
