Loved this restaurant. It is small but Cozy with true Filipino cultural feels. Great hospitality. Since there isn’t a whole lot of seating I see how it could get busy with a long wait. We were in the area and decided to try this place and the food and drinks were delicious. I was impressed. They were near closing time on a Sunday but didn’t turn our large party away. I am so glad that they didn’t because the flavors of the food was so good. Will definitely come back when in the area to try other dishes.

Food is delicious and customer service is second to none. Huge portions, all freshly made to order. All this (plus an empanada starter) fed 3 people with left overs. 100% recommended.

On the pricier side, and food was decent. Portions were fair. Ordered the crispy pata, spicy sisig, garlic rice, adobo rice, and garlicky eggplant. Service was great, atmosphere was chill. I've had better sisig, but the crispy pata was on point. Make sure to take your blood pressure medicine lol.

The best Filipino restaurant it’s not a turo turo ones. Foods are really good. The siningang na kambing is my favorite! Everything we ordered are satisfying. The service might be too slow to some but it’s so worth it. I wish their halo halo has more ingredients though.

Always a crowded place each time we visit, but it's for a good reason! The servers are friendly, but possibly due to the number of guests, our food didn't get served until after about 45 minutes. It was worth the wait though, because not only was our food visually satisfying but was very delicious as well!
Update: We went early on a weeknight, and we were seated right away. Oxtail kare-kare and pancit canton cravings were satisfied! 😊

Food is 5 stars hands down. Food is THE reason why this place is crowded - and the only reason why I keep on coming back and recommending to my friends… even though service is about 2.5 stars, leaves some to be desired (need more waiters, or at least have waiters keep track of who has been seated waiting to order!) The food is hands down authentic, delicious and on point. They offer varieties upon varieties of platters (mixed grill, fried street food,etc), fun desserts that you crave for (ube con hielo, maize con hielo) and oh their drinks - do try their hot stone tea - it’s like the feel good, taste good antioxidant drink! This time I ordered the mixed grill which you pick 2 of grilled pork belly, longanisa, chicken, beef or pork, then pick 1 of garlic fried rice (or frankly I ding know the other choices since I stopped at the best choice!) and 1 of sides - I picked talong (eggplant).
My friends got: lechon kawali (roast pig), shrimp balls, lumpia…

DELICIOUS FOOD! LOVED the staff and basically all the food, even the food that was going to other people's tables looked and smelled wonderful. I really liked all the different fresh fruit drink options and I liked their daily menu board as well. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and it did not disappoint. I'll be sure to return. Also VERY large portions, extremely sharable.

3/6/23 - Went here with a party of 8 on a Friday night . We made a reservation prior to our dinner. When we came in we were greeted and sat at our table. They gave us a notepad to write our orders down. You bring the paper up to the front desk once you have all your orders. We got an appetizer of lumpia which was delicious and had a good amount of pieces. I got the egg noodle pancit and the cucumber salad. I usually order rice noodles which someone else at our table got. I was able to try it but I liked the sauce on the egg noodle pancit better. But both were good though. I loved the dressing used with the cucumber salad. I got the Renee tea which was delicious. I did add water to my tea but again just a preference because the tea was very potent. I cannot recall what exactly everyone got but I got to try a little bit of everyone's food. Everything was really good. One of our people talked with the cook in regards to what they got was too fatty, which was a pork belly dish. They were super nice about it and made him something else. Someone else in the group ate the rest of the pork belly. I love the décor of the place. Overall, great food & drinks, and service/atmosphere.

Soo delicious! Everything is made to order. My sister and I ordered a bunch of food - great portions for sharing. Such a lovely place. The atmosphere is great. Be careful, it does get packed for a reason, and that'd because the food is amazing. Great Filipino food!

First time coming here. I love the decor. The place is not as big as it looks online and the service was kinda of slow, but other than that the food was really good. So much to choose from on the menu that we couldn't decide what to get. So instead we ordered two different platters and another side dish. Overall, my party of three was really happy and full. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in the area.

So, it's been awhile since I had Filipino cooking. I did a bunch of scouting before I chose.... Only at Renee's. Everything was prepared very very good I was very impressed with everything that I've eaten. I ordered a lot of food I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I was extremely happy with the server she was very pleasant and the food that I ate. I've ordered the pompano on the banana leaf and it came with the baby eggplant. Very delicious. Naturally I had to try their lumpia which was extremely good and crispy. Next I had they're Congee soup. Plenty of chicken a nice poached egg inside very delicious. And lastly I ordered their pork stomach which was the lechon kawali . Very similar crispy on the outside tender on the inside. Very very happy with my whole meal. You definitely have to try this 👍🏾🙏🙌🥰❤️

My family and I decided to give this highly recommended place a try.
We weren’t greeted when we talked in. Took them about 5 mins to be greeted and asked for us to sit down.
We got menus and couldn’t decide what to order. We then decided to go with “Ox tail Kare Kare, chicken BBQ and a Pig Pata.”
Once we got our food- I started to eat the BBQ and noticed the taste wasn’t chicken. I continued to eat it- and stopped half way because my stomach was getting upset. I can NOT eat port due to a health condition. Once we got our check the waitress wrote down PORK!
Next time I would just confirm they are giving me what I asked.
Besides that incident the food was amazing.
My husband and sister ordered some desert and they very much enjoyed it.

As a food connoisseur this is my number one on the list! I've been to many Filipino restaurants and this is on my top five list being it at the number one spot is the best of the best. The owner are a team of friendly and have a great sense of hospitality that you'll feel at home and treat you like their own family. In fact they treat everyone special by how they prepare and cook every single dishes on that menu, I guarantee you it's made with love. May I have a suggestion, try the pork belly meal it is one of my favorite. Come on by and try to eat at this place, you won't be disappointed. All the food on the menu are delicious!

We went one night for dinner and were blown away by the quality and large portions of the food served. Everything was delicious, from the drinks to the entrees and the dessert! We went back the next day for brunch as we wanted to try more food from the menu before our trip back home to Maryland. The service is amazing and the owners of the restaurants are very sweet and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back next time we're in the area.

Incredible meal. Every dish was so fantastic, seriously one of the best if not the best dining experiences my family and I have had in the Norfolk/VB area. Sisig, Kare kare, lumpia, bbq pork were some of the favorites but everything was so delicious. Gotta get that garlic spicy rice too. It’s homey, quaint, personal, and staff makes you feel like family, you can’t ask for better.

This was very pleasant and tasty experience. The atmosphere at this restaurant is very soothing and relaxing. We ordered the Mixed Grill and it is a very large portion of grilled meats(See below photo) My wife being native filipina really enjoyed authenticity of our meal. Overall everything was great and we will return in the future.

There's abit of a wait time for the food but its very well worth it! Big servings too!! The halo halo was loaded and very presentable and tasted so good!! We ordered adobo and pinakbet and they're both good! Will return again
