Panera Bread located on Lynnhaven Parkway. Great location near Lynnhaven Mall. Panera Bread has a great menu options of sandwiches, salads, soup, pizza, pastries, and more. This is a great place to meet clients, grab a bite to eat and use the free WiFi and conduct business. I usually order the Roasted Turkey & Avocado BLT sandwich, Strawberry Poppyseed Salad with Chicken, or Asian Sesame Salad with Chicken. Great lunch spot.
This is a small pond with just a bench seat and a trash can. It’s a few yards from Glenwood Elementary School. You can park on the road and only need to walk a few feet to get to it. There isn’t a restroom or a picnic table. A good place to take respite after a walk.
I come here mostly for the coffee which is better than Starbucks. But they also have sandwiches and other pastries that you can choose from and are delicious as well. I love the quick self serve kiosk where I can just order and grab and go. Would recommend this to all my friends and family.
This Panera Bread moved about a year ago from the Parkway Place Shopping Center to the Lynnhaven Mall area. They are a standalone building to the right after entering into the complex from International Dr. I come here frequently. This is one of the first Panera Bread locations I have been to that has a drive through. My most recent visit was on November 19, 2022.
There is ample parking available, but you have to be careful when making turns, as it's extremely easy to go up the curbs. Hopefully in the future they change how the parking area looks. Definitely no curb appeal here. Also, Bank of America is next to Panera Bread. There is parking over there for the bank, but don't park there if coming to Panera Bread during the bank's normal business hours according to signage there.
This location is larger than their original location. The inside is bright and is similar to other Panera Bread locations. There are three kiosks where you can order on inside, but you can also order ahead on the app too. There is an area where you can order with someone there as well.
Panera Bread has an Unlimited Sip Club. This is a drink subscription of sorts. For $11.99 a month, you can get unlimited drinks (every 2 hours) at any Panera Bread location. I have been doing this for a while now, and I definitely use it more than the monthly cost if I were to order separately. I would say that if you are getting a drink here at least 3 to 4 times a month, you should join the sip club, as it will save you more in the long run.
Although most of my visits are to get a drink, I do occasionally order food items here as well. At breakfast, my go to is normally a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich on brioche. At lunch and dinner time, I have a few items that I go to. I generally choose between the Bacon Turkey Bravo, Chipotle Chicken Sandwich Melt, or a flatbread pizza. In general, the food has been really good. One thing they should work on though is that sometimes, they can get a little overcooked. I have seen this especially with the breakfast soufflés.
Overall, this is a great location overall. The staff are friendly and courteous, and will ask if you have any questions, even if you were just looking around while waiting for an order to be ready. I have met the general manager here several times and he is great to talk to. If an issue arises, he is quick to have it addressed. If you are in the Lynnhaven Mall area and looking for a drink or some food, this place is worth checking out.
First time visiting the location—the cashier was so responsive. The food was great. It seemed a bit different from the traditional fast food restaurant. It had a homemade taste to it and everything seemed fresh.
We came to Virginia beach for a visit and fell in love with this panera bread location. We tried other ones in the vicinity, but this one is the one with most choices when it comes to the menu. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are super friendly. We will definitely revisit this spot if we're around.
I am giving this location 5 stars BUT if you're a person who works here and reading this, for the love of dog, please include a dang straw for delivery orders. I never get one. It's super annoying drinking a latte with whip without a straw.

I had to drop a 5-star review for my favorite location and crew! I can admit I never really ate at Panera until I joined the Sip Club in June and since then I pretty much stop by everyday for one of their Charged Sips. They eventually came to recognize my name/order & always greet me with love 🫶 I honestly was self-conscious at how often I was pullin up to the drive-thru to use my subscription 😭😅 but that quickly faded as they welcome me every time. They’re always polite and friendly but they make sure to recognize their regulars and I love it! I just wanted y’all to know I recognize you too and appreciate the genuine service each day.
I lost my best friend of 14 years & her funeral was Tuesday. I had an inconsiderate, truly ridiculous experience at a different restaurant after I had finally got the strength to eat after nothing that day because of the heartbreak I’m still dealing with. I also came here during that time & I appreciate this location’s crew & pleasantry more than they may know ❤️ Thank you and keep it up because someone (me!) sees it!
This location is run VERY well! The weekend manager seems to be exactly what most sites need. The store is clean. Tables spaces nice. Folks can work/relax here in peace. The food is fresh breads are ACTUALLY soft and freshly baked. Not as hard as a brick.
In general all Panera Bread locations in US are nice. This one looked exceptionally neat and clean. The food tastes great.
