I've always wanted to try Pembroke Pizza but never had the opportunity when the urge for pizza came up. It's located on the corner of a small shopping center off Independence Blvd. and you may miss it since the sign isn't really large. The parking is minimal but the majority of the orders were to go do you should be able to find a spot. If not, you can park on the street adjacent to it.
I ordered the 8" cheese pizza because of you can't get a cheese pizza done right, you might as well not call yourself a pizza restaurant. I asked for jalapeños and sweet peppers for this hot day. Plus, I wanted to see a contrast of colors so the cheese. The crust was cooked to perfection: soft with a crunchy upper layer. I was expecting a NY style and I'm so happy it wasn't. I'm not a fan of thin pizza crust. It was good amount of cheese to crust ratio. I never felt like I was shorted. The sauce won't knock you out but it works in tandem with everything else.
I'm definitely coming back. If you're in the Pembroke area, give it a shot. They also have various calzones, pastas, subs, and wings of your not in the mood for pizza.

Stopped here after a church service at Haygood and they were accommodating for a large party of about 17 or so. Service was great. I had a chicken gyro with a side salad and they were both excellent. Many in the party had individual pizzas and they looked good as well.

They have really good Chicken Parm. The portions are huge. And the prices are reasonable!

We came all the way from Pa to visit family in OBX , we drove to Virginia Beach to go to an arcade and came across Pembroke pizza. We went and ate in. The waitress was great! Brought drinks as they were empty. Very polite. The food was soooo good we got a medium pepperoni pizza and a pepperoni stromboli and they were delicious!! I recommend for sure!

We are always super pleased with our food! The Stromboli and Wings are our addiction! The employees are as always really nice too! It’s very nice that they know me when I arrive to pick my food up too.

Not only did it get here well before the estimated time, the food was good, the hamburger wasn’t soggy, did not fall apart, the sandwich was also not soggy, the calzone was pretty epic thou I recommend not to get the amount of meat I did makes it a bit drippy but over all as a new customer I will be returning

We are new to the area, and were hoping to replace our favorite pizza spot from CT. Pembroke Pizza did not disappoint! VERY clean establishment. I always make a habit of looking at the air intake vents in a restaurant, and everything in this place was spotless. The service was excellent and attentive. We ordered fries, Pippys bread, a calzone, and a Pembroke special. All were hot, excellent, and so tasty. I especially liked the way they chopped everything so fine for the pizza. 10/10! We will put this on our rotation for sure!

Not "authentic" Italian, but its own version, which was very pleasant and fresh.
This reminded me of shops when I was a kid with a claw machine and cranking out good pizza. Family, teen, date night friendly.
Wait staff was awesome, friendly, and very attentive. Folks back in the kitchen were professional, no cussing, loud music, or playing on their phones, which these days is rare. Clean tables also.
I might have thought twice about eating there had I seen the restroom, however. Not sure if it's renovation or bleach that it was in need of, but there was a musty smell that was really off-putting. Overall a good experience. Hats off guys.

The server was friendly and attentive to our needs. The Aphrodite Pizza is delicious, I just think it needed more gyro meat. The restrooms were clean. I definitely will visit again.

I found this local pizza spot on the slice app for national pizza party day, first time here was very easy to find on the corner of independence and Jericho near town center, hmm smells so good when I entered, I ordered the personal 8’ cheese pizza with pepperoni and a side of garlic bread hmmm so good, the staff are very friendly, I had the option to takeout or dine in, I will definitely be back for more, food was fresh hot and fast

Haven't been for awhile but great pizza for lunch with friend catching up good table service girl right on top of refills.Fresh and more homemade flavor .Will go back nice menu with other gal pals and guy friends .

First time order. Delivery was quick and arrived before it was due. Had the Italian Sub. It was on point. My husband ordered chicken parm he said it was just okay. The chicken was over cooked and a little dry but other than that we will be ordering again.

This pizza place is a weekly favorite! Their pizza is the best we have ever had! Great and friendly staff! We love the aphrodite pizza and pepperoni for the kiddos!
