Stopped by this little gem today. Surprised by the quality of their food! Chef Si is super nice and welcoming and her skills is superb!!! We were lucky enough that they were not that busy today and had the chef special! Fish was fresh and seasoning was just right. Highly recommend for foodies in this area looking for authentic Japanese food! One person is about 30 dollars. Great price for this quality Japanese food!!

Their nigiri is amazing!! Seems like the shop has a new owner. Very cute lucky cat decoration Fish was fresh and melting in my mouth. Good alcohol selections. I liked their new sayuri sake. Not too strong yet not too sweet. Price was fair compared to other Japanese restaurants in the area.

Update 11/2023:
This place is under new ownership and I don’t like the changes that they’re making. Keep everything how it is!! We miss our favorite waitress too! We might have to find a new sushi place if the new owner keeps changing everything around. The food is still good but the experience just ISNT the same under new ownership. We’ve always traveled miles away to come here and it’s just not worth the drive for us anymore like it used to be.
My favorite restaurant!! I’ve been coming here for quite awhile.. I just can’t stay away! I don’t want sushi from any other place. Everything is always perfect at Inaka Sushi! The waitress goes above & beyond to give us a great experience and I really appreciate her!! The atmosphere is amazing. The chefs are amazing. I’d give Inaka Sushi 6 stars if I could!!

We returned again and it was another amazing experience. The service was prompt, attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. I would recommend to everyone who enjoys good quality sushi ! A top tier restaurant!

This has become one of my go-to spots for sushi especially since it is near my house. I feel like they have definitely improved since my last review in 2020. The service is great and fast. It's clean inside. I like that they still have the Japanese traditional like booths where you can sit cross-legs.
I even DoorDash a meal and the quality of food was still consistently good. The sushi tastes fresh and they have some of their own unique sushi rolls. If you ever thought this place was bad, come try again. I have been here several times these last few months and have been very impressed.

We took a shot on this place based on the reviews and we were not disappointed! The waitress was so friendly and the food was outstanding! The prices were a little high, but it forced us to try some different menu options and we were really glad we did.

04/12/2023 Update!! Still top spot for sushi! Took the kids tonight and it was perfect across the board!! I'm posting new pics and you must try the Mango passion roll it does not disappoint. Our waitress was Yuki and she was such a happy and warm person!! I will continue to frequent this place!!
I absolutely love this place. This is my go to sushi restaurant.
First the atmosphere is inviting and warm and I love sitting in the tatami! David is my favorite waiter. We have him almost every time we come. He always has the best suggestions on rolls we should try and this time has suggestion. Was the honey bunny and it was absolutely on point.
I have not had a roll i did not enjoy here and a few of our faves are the Spicy Volcano as well as the super duper roll and recently added hunny bunny roll!! Authentic green tea that just soothes your soul!! The miso soup is good and their ginger dressing for the salad is second to none! End your night with fried green tea ice cream for stomach hugs!!
I have been coming here for year and will continue to come and I hope David is always my server!

OMG. This is probably the only reason to come to Virginia Beach. The service was exceptionally friendly. I'll even say kind. They made my yellowtail roll fresh, my miso had the deepest most developed flavor I've ever had. My roll's rice was warm and the tuna cold. It was THAT fresh..

While my wife and I didn’t dine in we still have a great experience with delivery.
I got 10 Piece Sushi Special which was delicious for the most part. I wish it would have told me online that it came with octopus and red clam because I would have asked for substitutes. Even with those I feel the other fish was good quality and tasted delicious! It also came with a delicious miso soup and salad. The ginger salad dressing as well was good but a bit too zingy for my taste but the salad was very fresh regardless.
My wife had the Gyoza and twin tower roll and she enjoyed them both very much!
Everything was packaged carefully it seemed so my sushi was in once piece when we got it. Overall very delicious and we will be eating here again.

Service was excellent and the food even better. It was so good I forgot to take a picture of my main course - steak hibachi. The specialty sushi roll was one of the best I have ever had. It was called Christmas Tree Roll. See the picture. Just know that the hibachi is prepared back in the kitchen and not in front of you…so no entertainment factor, just food.
