Peter Chang Express

Stopped by for a lunch on a Friday afternoon with my friend. The service was quick and our server was very attentive. We were in and out in less than an hour. The flavors of the entrees we got were amazing. It’s reminiscent of the flavor profiles of a Chinese food we get in New York City china town. We had the Basil Eggplant in hot pot with chicken, Stir fried Flat Rice noodle with beef and the bubble pancakes.

Pros: Much better than other fake chinese places. Great taste with mostly ever order I had from there. Peter Chang uses chili paste or other condiments that family would use back home in China. Generous portion, great balance of meat and veggies stir fried with the meat. Great service. Love their lunch special. Hot &sour soup is a good surprise for me as I don’t normally like it, but theirs has lots good ingredients and great flavor. . I recommend double cooked chicken, chicken w garlic sauce, basil beef or chicken., tea smoked duck, and beef noodles. Love that they have brown rice option as well. /. Cons: My only complain is that sometimes food can be a little bit greasy, like the basil eggplants w beef, although I love eggplants and might just have a salad for dinner 😅. And the inside is a little dark (but still nice decorated). With all been said, we wish good business to Peter Chang!

I give this place 3.5 stars rounded to 4. Two appetizers were good: their bubble pancakes were more like a novelty similar to roti canai but harder. The salmon roll (salmon rolled in ???) was interesting, different. The chicken lettuce wrap was okay, lacked the crunch of same dish served in another restaurant with same last name ….!it was also slightly too salty for my taste. My friend had the crispy pork belly. It was the best dish.service was great.

For some of the best Chinese food in the area, give Peter Chang a try. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. We're vegetarian and there are several delicious meals and appetizers from which to choose. My husbands likes the mushroom dish while I go for mixed vegetables with tofu. Both dishes are served over an open flame dish holder ( for lack of a better word) which keeps the food hot. Portions are generous so be prepared to have a second or even a third meal with the take home leftovers. Don't miss out on the tofu skins which are served cold and oh so tasty. Be warned....they are addictive! I find myself craving these the way some people crave ice cream.

My husband and I had a delightful and satisfying quick lunch at Peter Chang. The service was prompt and friendly, which was perfect for our limited time. The portions were generous, leaving us feeling fully satisfied. The restaurant had a clean and inviting atmosphere, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. We ordered the Crispy Pork Belly, House Fried Rice, and Golden Mountain Chicken, and every dish tasted fantastic. It was a great choice for a quick and delicious lunch.
