I have been going to Tony's since I was 7 or 8 years. My Dad took me to the original location on Lafayette Blvd in Norfolk. My wife told me that the location had closed down. I was so disappointed. I was riding on Newtown Road one day and I look to my right and saw the sign Tony's Hot Dogs. I stopped and pulled in to the parking lot. I went in and ordered 6 hot dogs. I was not disappointed. This is still Tony's Hot Dogs. Best Hot Dog place in Town. I hope they don't close up. It will be hard to find another hot dog spot that is this good. Simply and to the point. Hot Dogs with Onions Mustard and Chilli. Just had a hot dog is supposed to be made.

Have been visiting this location for well over three decades and always make it a point when in the area to eat two, three....five or six.
I feel very at home at Tony's no nonsense get your dogs a coke or a draft and enjoy.

This is the VERY best tough skin and chilli in the WORLD!! I do not like hotdogs- but these are insanely good and crunchy- tough skin! Phillip is awesome! Root beer is excellent! This is A MUST TRY! Then you’ll be addicted💜

Old fashioned hot dog counter, like from the 1960s, lol... Cash only, no sides. Free refills on soda. Owner doesn't have time for nonsense so just order your dogs and sit down. Overhead owner say he'll be retiring soon, so you better get your dogs before its gone! Great dogs!

Fast service the man cooking the hotdogs was very nice. They only have hotdogs no fries but the hotdogs are delicious so nothing else is needed. I got mine all the way with chili, mustard and onions. It had a little spice which was just right. They only take cash, good thing the cost is low all the way hotdogs less that 3 bucks. However it could add up if you have a big appetite.

Easily the best chili dog I've ever had. Keep in mind that aside from standard toppings the primary hot dog variety here is the all the way chili dog. In other words, don't try to order a Chicago dog and you'll be fine.

Excellent. A very small plain old school type of place.
They use Hormel hotdogs with natural casing. Free refills on soda. The chili sauce is more like Coney sauce but either way it us delicious with a slightly spicy bite.
If you like hotdogs, this place is a must.

Simple menu. Just hot dogs. Recommend all the way (with mustard, onions, and chilli) and add cheese. Don't even think about asking for ketchup. ITIS WARNING. DO NOT EAT MORE THAN THREE HOT DOGS. If you do, plan to take a nap after you eat. They have Coke products and domestic beer. They have been around a long time. I have passed by this place for years and not know it was here. Glad I found it. Will not forget this place.
