We've eaten there twice now. I had given up on finding good Korean food in a Navy town. The spicy pork reminded me of the spicy pork I ate in Korea. I had the pork belly the 2nd time and it was great. We ate there for lunch both times and got full enough to only need a light meal for supper. I always consider it a good sign in any ethnic restaurant when people from that country are eating there. We don't eat out often but this will likely be our most visited place.
Got to go to this place while visiting family in Virginia Beach. The food was very delicious! It's hard to find 삼겹살 in my hometown so I was very excited. We all loved our food and the side dishes were really fresh. We also had really good service (friendly staff). If I'm in Virginia Beach again, I'm going to this place first lol
We love this place. A real hidden gem in Virginia Beach. The prices are great, staff is amazing and food is delicious
A great place that offers great food. The staff is friendly and helpful. She always smiles and initiates small talk. She also brings drink refills to the table without us even asking. We had a great time and we will go back here again. Definitely worth every $ and time.
My go to place to satisfy my Korean food cravings. Authentic but a bit on the pricey side though the portions are great.
First time here I order Togo and the service was great and the food didn't take to long. The Galbi was really delicious and the kimchi jjigae was good will def come back and try their other dishes. ^_^🍖🍚🥘
Food is soooo amazing. Lovely staff. Nice family feel. Best Korean restaurant in the Hampton Roads.

Love it!! The food is excellent and the staff is extremely nice!
Better experience after a long hiatus from going back. Last time I remember the place was slightly run down, and my fave mackerel fish wasn't my favorite anymore.
Tonight my friend and I were nearby after having had a great therapeutic massage (oh yes check out my review), I suggested to come here. The place has been updated, better flooring, updated decor and more customers on a drizzling Tuesday night.
I was hungry and cold so decided to order Crunch California Gimbap ( crunch roll with cucumber, avocado, etc etc.) it was phenomenal, a 10. I ordered the ribs with clear broth and glass noodles. It came with shared veggies and a bowl
of rice. It was a 5 of 5, could have been more if it was slightly seasoned (maybe a dash of black pepper and soy sauce that I could have added myself!)
Service was wonderful. While I was waiting for my friend, I was asked if I needed anything; and then the occasional checking in. Service is friendly and polite. My friend stayed a few minutes beyond closing time but we weren't hastened out. We got the Asian yogurt to cleanse our palate as we were given our check. What an experience! Still my top Korean restaurant in Hampton Roads!
The food was good and the service was great. The kimchee was just like my grammas home made kimchee back in the day. If we come through there we'll be back.
Don't let the hole in the wall look scare you away. The food was amazing, staff was nice and place was clean. Opted for the fish cake, white rice, and seafood Ramen. The fish cakes were a bit spicy and delicious!!
The food was to die for! Highly recommend it! Loved the Bibimbap, japchae and ramen!
It's the most delicious Korean restaurant in Virginia. I've never seen a Korean restaurant with so many customers Even though I was busy, the staff were so kind (Korean female staff was so kind!) I really enjoyed the hot stone pot bibimbap^^ The side dishes were all good, too! It was nice to feel the sincerity of the food ^^ I'm going to go again next time!
This is by far my favorite Korean place in Norfolk. Coming from California my expectations were very low, but this place surprised me. I have been to 3 different Korean restaurants locally and this is by far the best. I only give it 4 stars due to the fact that their prices are a bit high for smaller portions compared to the other restaurants here. However, in exchange you get fresher ingredients, fantastic food, and great customer service. They close in the afternoon for 2.5 hours everyday and off Sunday’s.
Edit: 5 stars now. Their food seems to always have the same quality consistently and I have been coming here for months now. Well, worth it!
2nd edit: can yall bring back the steamed egg? You guys makes it so good!!!
We have a high bar for Korean food after having lived in Korea, but both times we have gone, the food was FANTASTIC. The servers are always very attentive and the food and Banchon are fresh and delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant for your Korean food fix!
Great spot with amazing food and even better service. We went on a busy night and staff was worried our food might take a while so they brought us an additional complimentary appetizer. Food came out sizzling hot and right on time and far exceeded our expectations. Location is very spacious inside and has a separate area for large parties and celebration (18% gratuity charge added to bill for parties larger than 6). Probiotic liquid yogurt drink given at the and of the meal was included and delicious. Beer is available on site.
I order jjam ppong...the portion of the food was very large...what can i say...5 stars...food was just great
The food and service are great, everything was fresh and very flavorful! Just a little warning if you are super sensitive to heat most dishes we ordered had a little kick to them. I loved it, it was alllmost a little too much for my husband. Overall great food 😋
Great place to eat traditional Korean cuisine! I absolutely love the food here. I ordered 4 different plates and an appetizer! Absolutely impressed with the quality and service! Would recommend to anyone. Even if you want to try something New! They are so helpful in describing the food for you!
The female owner creates the mood of the restaurant very well and the food tastes really good. Of course She is very beautiful.
All of the staff are kind and pretty. Owner chef's cooking skills are excellent, but He need more smile face
We loved all the food we had here! The service however took forever. They hire very young people here, nothing wrong with that, but they definitely need to learn how to work more efficiently. I'm so used to the Korean restaurants in NYC with the older Korean waiter/waitresses and their quick and no frill attitudes. This place took forever for everything. From the time we sat down, to the time we were able to order, to the time we got our side dishes, to the time the entrees came out. Anyhow...
Every single item we had was great!!
The seafood pancake was flavorful and crispy and filled with seafood goodies.
The galbi and the pork belly were marinated so nicely and were very tender.
The spicy rice cakes were delicious and had a savory flavor with lots of yummy sauce.
Sorry but I was able to only get a picture of the seafood pancake since we were all starving by the long wait!
Overall, definitely recommend this place
I ordered Jjamppong and Galbi. I couldn't take a picture of galbi. At first, there was no expectation for food, but I ate jjamppong, and I changed my mind. The food was amazing!! It tasted like jjamppong that I ate in Korea. The food took me back to Korea. I will definitely come back again.
Currently eating while doing this review! All the foods are flavorful! The side dishes are so good too and the servings are not stingy! I truly recommend this place! Thank you for coming to VB!
Located where you would not expect so trust your GPS. The food (Cheese Corn, Gun Man Doo, Special Combo, Beef Bulgogi Dinner, a the Galbi Combo) was absolutely delicious!!! The ambience is date night worthy & the staff were nice, fast and attentive.
This is one of the best Korean restaurants in Virginia. The food, and service were beyond my expectation. The prices were reasonable. The dining area was clean and comfortable. My wife and I entered this place when it reopened at 5 PM to become the afternoon's first customers. Within a few minutes, people began to pour in, taking nearly a half of the tables. By the time I left in an hour, there were only a couple of unoccupied tables. My first visit to this place was a pleasant surprise.
The food was great. Had Ddeak Bbokki and spicy chicken bulgogi. All really hot and spicy perfect for a cold afternoon. The place itself was nicely decorated. Service was kinda weird but the you ladies did their best. Got two appetizers when I ordered one. No one offered me to refill my water but other than that, little things, it was a good place to visit.
