What a pleasant surprise! Found this place by accident while car shopping nearby. Nice honest Philly-style cheese steak lunch place, but more classy than any I've seen. Spotlessly clean, modern decor, interesting music mix playing (Motown, reggae, Ska, Elvis, The Police, etc.) over a Bose sound system. Menu is straightforward, service is very fast, if I worked nearby I'd be a regular. Guessing the owner has northeastern roots! :-D

This place is awesome. The staff is absolutely pleasant! Clean spot with good food. Had the chicken cheesesteak and it was pretty good. My only gripe, being a native Philadelphian is that they do not put the cheesesteaks on an Amoroso roll. It kind of throws the cheesesteak off a bit. One of the better cheesesteak spots if you’re trying to get your fix away from Philly. I’d definitely return to try their other sandwiches.

A co-worker told me about No Forks and told me I had to try it. I did and I must say I was really impressed. The food is awesome. What impressed me the most was how the staff took the time to make sure each basket of food was presentable and not just thrown into the basket. I have found a new place to eat.

Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices. I went for the famous jojo fry basket and it was fantastic. The cajun seasoning is pretty salty (but great) but you can have them leave it off if salty isn't your thing. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again!

This place was pretty good! The bread was toasted perfectly... a little crispy but still super soft and the steak was well seasoned. I'll definitely be returning here soon.

My nephew told me about this place. I have driven pass I know 1000 times never knew what they served just thought the name stood out. So my wife and I decided to try them out. Glad we did and will definitely come back. Service is good they greet you with a smile and the good smell of onions on the grill! The food was good and fresh cheese steak had a good amount of meat and flavorful. Oh yeah they use fresh mushrooms not canned. That's a plus for me.

Seriously soooo good, definitely a little quirky place. If your looking for a hole in the wall with great food, you found it.

I heard about this place from some coworkers that ordered it for lunch. First let me say the aroma completely took over the building and everyone wanted was in those bags! I immediately left work and made no hesitation to come straight to your establishment and it was worth every penny! The food is cooked fresh and served in a very timely manner. It is also a very clean and friendly environment. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I just wish you were open on Saturday's but I understand! Lol

No Forks is the best ever. The food is outstanding and made with great care. I recommend the Jojo. I feel like it would be worth it to drive from Indiana if there were some No Forks waiting for me. If you haven't tried this place, DO IT. I don't het excited about restaurants, I'm like Tom Cruise jumping on Oprah's sofa for No Forks. Believe the hype, No Forks is about the best place of its kind in Hampton Roads, and they've got something for everybody.

I eat and I I try everything and this without a doubt was the best Cheesesteak I've ever had anywhere my entire life. I could eat the steak in a bowl with a spoon. Whatever you guys do, keep doing it. We stopped twice before our trip back to Pittsburgh and I wish we could of fit a 3rd visit! Got the burger the second time also and just, wow. It's a simple dish but it's made with so much love that you cry tears of joy eating it. Thanks for having us and don't stop, you're on your way!!

Bar none the best cheesesteak in Virginia beach!! Great customer service! All fresh ingredients! Cooked to order food! The fact that the owner is cooking the food makes it that much better!! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a good sandwich!!!

Unlike most cheesesteaks this one had a unique flavor not sure what the seasoning was but it gave the high quality ribeye a great flavor will go back to try the other menu items

By far the place to get anything on their menu they have their own style and standout from the rest. If you haven't tried it yet do it!once you go here you will not go anywhere else for a steak sandwhich a burger hotdogs Rubens basically anything they serve.

Go there every week. Best Cheese Steak in Va. Beach , probably the cleanest and most organized I have ever seen of a restaurant and the employees are very friendly. Definitely need to try this place!!

The cheesesteak that melts in your mouth!!!. The Jojo was heaven sent, thanks JoAnn! Keep making concoctions, you won't regret it. Trust me. The Jojo just melts in your mouth from the first bite to the last. I have never, ever had a cheesesteak like that before. The bread was so soft, like holding a baby with gentleness. The taste was just deliciously perfect. And the ambiance was very inviting, (my colors blue and gold) not to mention, the music brought back good times. Oh, and the place was very well kept. And what can I say about the staff, beautiful people with a heart of gold. I got a chance to speak with the owner, Patricia, a blessed and beautiful person along with Bobby, the wonderful man who waited on me. Good Food, Good Atmosphere, Spotlessly Clean. Stopped in today for the first time, and will definitely be going back. <br/>My wife and I both got the cheesesteak combo, which had a cheese steak sandwich, and just the right amount of fries.<br/>The sandwich was just the right size, not too big, not skimpy at all,and it didn't depend on the bread for anything more than to deliver it to your mouth!. <br/>I'd gladly recommend No Forks to anyone who wants a comfortable place to get lunch or an early dinner at a reasonable price.

Fantastic. This is an awesome place and the food is fantastic. The service is impeccable and the employees are friendly and helpful without hovering. It's kinda small with a homey feel but very clean and well stocked but not cluttered. It's a good place to go and have a great meal that is quick and yummy. Check them out you won't be disappointed.

Best cheesesteak I've ever had. These cheesesteaks are oozing with flavor! One of the few places around here that don't use Steak-umms for their beef (believe it or not, most places use that stuff). No Forks uses real ribeye, I've seen them cutting it myself in the store, off this huge gargantuan hunk of beef. <br/><br/>Also - they toast the buns - which keeps your bread from getting soggy if you're getting it to go. In other words, their cheesesteaks travel very well and I sometimes think they're better if you bring them home than they are when you eat them there..<br/><br/>I'm sort-of a cheesesteak lover, locally I've been to: Little Philly, Ricks, Straight Outta Philly, Cold Cuts, Philly Station, Philly Style Steaks, Bent Fork, Fat Phillys, Iggles.. and in my personal opinion - this is the BEST! If you enjoy cheesesteaks you need to make this happen!

This place was great. I got the steak and cheese combo which comes with fries and a drink. The steak was excellent and juicy. They shave thier own steak daily. It is high quality meat...*thats what she said ;). Thier bread is delicious. It is a fairly small place but it doesn't seem that way because the owner has managed to make it a bright, inviting and clean atmosphere. The owner is genuine and very nice. It doesnt hurt that she is also attractive. I am a total foodie and I never write reviews. However, I think I need to help get the word out on this little gem. They have a nice menue and I look forward to trying more of their items. Check them out. P.S. ask for a fork :)

Great service and atmosphere! Everything is good but my personal favorite is the chicken bacon philly. If you are a chicken bacon ranch fan this blows everyone else out often water.

Great Cheesesteak! I have been to Philly Cheesesteaks on Tidewater-Ok, Fat Phillys in Azalea- Ok, and the one off Birdneck, but this by far is the best in the Hampton Roads region! Staff is friendly and I noticed a guy cutting the steak with a meat slicer which shows me it's quality steak! Great choice! And I will continue to go there!

Best steaks in the area!. I went to a competitor Iggles the day before because no forks closes at 6, and No forks is way better...CHEESE WIZ!! No forks toasts their rolls which is a plus as well. The difference between the 2 chains is that no forks actually uses freshly thin sliced rib eye steaks, I saw it while sitting at the counter. The flavor between the two is notably different, there is fat in no forks steaks as a ribeye should, iggles had none what so ever. <br/><br/> No forks=Quality > Iggles=quantity<br/>This is the reason why i will be coming back. I'd rather have quality than quantity. Iggles cheesesteaks are bigger at the same price of no forks, but when i ate at iggles something missing, Problem solved at no forks. <br/><br/>Try the mango cheesecake!!

Picky with my cheesesteaks!!!!. But this one SURE did pass the test!!!! AMAZING!!!!!!! DO NOT let the exterior of this GEM of a place fool you!!! I have not stopped thinking about the Jojo since I ate the sandwich 3 days ago. Steak, Cajun fries, provolone and Cheez Whiz on a toasted roll - I'd be hard pressed to pick something different next time. <br/><br/>Went for lunch on a slam-packed Friday at 1pm- took almost an hour to get our food (companion had to leave without her lunch). Waitress was very apologetic- they only had one girl cooking for a crowd of about 20. <br/><br/>Slow food aside, I would return again and again for that cheesesteak- plan around the busiest time if possible... Take an early or late lunch. It's worth it.

I’ve been to Philly Cheesesteaks on Tidewater and IGGLES on VAB Blvd and I LOVE them too… here’s the thing to me the two cannot be compared or rated against one another because of one ingredient… CHEESE WHIZ!! <br/><br/>I ordered a “JoJo,” with onion rings in my sandwich instead of French Fries and table side I added a squeeze of Sriracha hot sauce. Absolutely the best!!! Finger licking, lips smacking, tummy goodness. This is the only place I know of with Cheese Whiz, and in my mind, cheese whiz (at least having the option) is what makes a cheesesteak… a Cheesesteak. <br/><br/>For some they like whole sliced “steak” compared to chopped… provolone vs. Cheese Whiz, again food lovers and cheesesteak testers worldwide, it’s about the option, not who’s better because all places named serve up some GREAT cheesesteaks I would stand in line for. <br/><br/>I hope you will give this place a shot, ask for the “WHIZ” on whatever sandwich you order and you’ll see what I mean. It’s so tasty!!! They have traditional cheesesteaks and many different topping to choose from too. But if you’re open to something different, try a specialized cheesesteak… a “JOJO” or “DANJO” you will not be disappointed. <br/><br/>This is a fairly new place, keep them coming and they'll be here to stay!!! Surprised!. Wow, reading all of these reviews had my expectations high! I just finished my lunch from there, first timer. I got it to go. The 2 girls working were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I will say you can tell that the steak they use is high quality, very flavorfull. On the other hand, the overall sandwich itself left something to be desired. I do have a spot in Norfolk which is (usually) the only place I will go to for a cheesesteak. It's called Philly Cheesesteaks on Tidewater drive. Maybe none of these other reviewers have been there but it is 10 times better. I know why they callt his place "no forks"....i think its because they dont put enough steak on your sandwich to wear it falls off and you need a fork to get the rest (which in my opinion is a great cheesesteak). On top of all of this, this isnt even a place to take the family too for a dinner. They are only opened until 6:00 pm Monday -Friday. The reason i decided to try this place was because of a "MyPerks" coupon that I received. Overall the cheesesteak was ok. If i ever dine there again i will try something else off of the menu.

Bangin' Cheese Steak. Looking for a local restaurant to try, I stopped in to no forks based on the prior reviews on urban spoon. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is nice and welcoming.<br/>I ordered the Cheese Steak sub and curly fries. Both exceeded expectations. The chef cooked the green peppers and onions and mushrooms before starting the steak so they were not under done. The steak is sliced in house from rib-eye and not gristly, and the bread was toasted on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. With some provolone and mayo, I had the best sandwich I have had in years and certainly the best in the tidewater area.<br/>It was the little things that really topped off my dining experience, the home made icecream, relaxed atmosphere, abundance of refills on my drink, and lastly great napkins. <br/><br/>Thank you for a great lunch I will be back fo sho. <br/><br/>Ryan

Very impressed. I was starving plus running late and saw the sign and made a u-turn...glad I did they were closed but the owner was insistent and kind enough to make a very fresh and tasty cheesesteak sub for me....soooo good...thanks Patricia for being a true business owner with a heart for service above and beyond the norm. What a surprising stop!!. I saw this place when I stopped in for subway and decided to give it a shot instead. Am I glad I did!! This place is great. Very nice inside with a personal yet laid back atmosphere. They seem very focused on customer satisfaction. This local stop is really a hidden gem. I had the Philly with cheese whiz, and it really took me back to the city. That's a hard thing to find. Menu is pretty diverse and prices are very fair. Imagine cheesesteaks as good as Gino's, a menu with more (and better) variety than subway or Quiznos, or any quick burger joint, and an atmosphere that no chain will ever be able to touch. That's my take. Check it out, I know I'll be back! My roommates also spoke very highly of the burger and chicken avacado bacon Philly.

AWESOME CHEESESTEAKS & MORE. I personally like the Cheesesteaks here more then any other cheesesteaks I have ever had. Quality meat Quality bread and smothered in cheese :) Better than any place in Philly and most definitely better than any place in Hampton Roads. I recommend provolone and cheese whiz its an awesome combo
