The Pizza Box is our family’s favorite! My husband and I first tried this spot in July ‘22 and it has been our go-to ever since. We love the pizzas, the salads are so fresh and good, and when you’re just not feeling pizza — the smash burger and fries are delicious! And we look forward to trying their other menu items as well.
The restaurant itself is quite small but still has a good amount of seating. We’ve dined in for lunch several times but primarily order takeout for dinner.
The owners & staff are all very nice and welcoming! We’ve never had any issues with the quality of our food or with any special order requests.
With 4 littles, it’s often an issue to get them to all agree on the same place to eat but we all love The Pizza Box!

Would have given 5 stars for all... the slice of pizza was the hiccup. Everything we had was homemade.
The garlic knots (10) were the star of the show, fresh, piping hot, doughy, and delicious. The aroma and mouthfeel were out of this world. With it came marinara sauce in a small cup in the center, all topped with parmesan cheese. You have to experience this for yourself, so go.
Along with this carb overload, I had a slice of pepperoni pizza. It was a bit dry yet had good flavor. I think next time, order the whole pizza as it is difficult to keep individual slices from drying out.
My husband loved the tomato basil soup. It had a definite texture to it. Like a whole tomato minus the seeds all blended into a delightful, fragrant creation. A+ there, he really enjoyed it.
Fountain drinks were oversized, and the staff was great.

My family and I had dinner at The Pizza Box a few weeks ago and the food was excellent. Two of my kids ordered a personal pizza. The pizza was extremely tasty. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. My oldest ordered the cheeseburger. Their patty was made of fresh, never frozen beef, and it was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend The Pizza Box for a family outing or stopping by for lunch. We will definitely be back again.

You’re not going to find a better family owned restaurant in the Tidewater region. Amanda and Brian have put their heart into not only each other and their family, but into the menu of the Pizza Box. One bite into a garlic knot and you know why it’s the best in the beach. The smashburger could be it’s own focal point too. I may travel for work, but the Pizza Box is going into my notes for when I return to the area. 10/10

The Pizza Box is amazing! Came here with our Pizza Club and they were so kind to us. Pro tip- try their buffalo chicken pizza! And their homemade ranch. Shout out to Jessie, Mike and Liz for the incredible service.

Great lil local spot. Family atmosphere with great pizza. The crust is crunchy and chewy just how I like it. Prices are very fair.
I wanted to update my review to say how fantastic the staff and owner are here. The crust is incredible and the toppings didn't overpower.

1st time here. We did take out because I wasn't sure how much inside seating they had. They have a few tables and some spots to sit at a small bar/ledge. They were full when I picked my order, so I already knew the pizza would be good. I got cheese slices and my son got the buffalo chicken pizza. We both enjoyed. I love to have the option the get a slice instead of a whole pizza. I will definitely be back. My goal is to try all of the pizza places in the area. So far, this one isy 2nd favorite or tied with 1st place. I'll have come again to decide which.

Best Pizza in the area. Everything I have ordered has been amazing. I eat lunch here 3 to 4 times a week usually getting it Togo. House Italian dressing is amazing along with their ranch. Fried Oreos?! Yum! And not to mention their subs are fantastic. They make their food with love and it's a fantastic flavor!!! Definitely a 10/10

Love supporting a family owned business! Great service here and very friendly employees. While the pizza isn't the best I have ever had, I would say it's some of the better pizza you can in the Virginia Beach area.

Stopped in for a quick sandwich and it might be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! The bread was incredible and it was stacked high. The pasta salad was also delicious. We will be back very soon!

The food was great but the service was terrible. The waitress had a bad attitude and was disrespectful and rude. Anyone can fill a cup of water, be kind to customers that's a basic requirement. Ps, eating while you prepare food isn't cool either.

Homemade food, big plates, fair pricing, family owned and run. Service like no other. Gratitude from family. I drove by this restaurant for 15 years before a friend recommended it, now a regular stop. You can't go wrong with breakfast , lunch or dinner.
